No fridge in room, it was a cooler. Heated pool was nice & hot tub too but closed at sunset. Location great. Ad says meals are free, which indicates included but $30 per day was added to fees to cover, in addition to parking. It’s more of a motel with some extra amenities. The pool was very nice, hot tub very hot, and there is access to the water out back where you can fish. Breakfast was self serve microwave sandwiches, sometimes cereal and fruit. Went a few days without having the room cleaned to the point we had to call and even walk out dirty towels up to the front. I understand staffing can be an issue in any market. The room was very humid and damp but that might be expected for the area. We did really enjoy the bikes they let tenants use freely. It’s not terrible but far from a resort. Surprise. Promised in room amenities weren’t there everything had to be asked for. Towels. Room cleaned. Water. In room phones don’t work. TV didn’t work. Electrical outlets didn’t all work. Ran out of towels, coffee, creamers, cups in the room. Breakfast was horrible. Available 8 to 10\. There 9:10\. No food left. Served Jimmy Dean sandwiches, yogurt, cereal. No spoons, no tea, no coffee, no orange juice. Couldn’t find anyone to restock for 15 minutes then took 15 minutes to stock everything up. Rooms were good, not great. Building had a common hall/entrance. When we walked it the building had a weird odor (musty) smell. The room also has a weird odor, different than the hall but just as bad. It looked like the property was under new management trying to get the whole property looking better. Deferred maintenace on the grounds. We did like the view from the bar area. Although no quests ame to the bar while we were there. We didn't get to enjoy the breakfast. We had to take care of some business during that time unexpectantly. Over all the pool are was nice and the location was central. The room was clean enough, it was just the odors in the building. ##### Ann Stayed 1 night in Dec 2025 ### 4/10 Poor #### Valerie Nov 16, 2025 Disliked: Amenities The Wi-Fi was very poor in the room this was reported, but brushed off so we sat in reception to get Wi-Fi, the breakfast was awful and not worth having, and the seating area for breakfast was tatty and insufficient, plus it’s advertised with a sunset bar, but it smelt so bad we couldn’t stay, the bar served beer or soda nothing else and the sun set behind buildings not what you’d expect in the keys.
