It was perfect for our needs as two older couples. The hosts are very responsive. The views are amazing. The beds are very comfy. It’s very quiet & relaxing. It’s within walking distance of Darrel’s, The Christmas Shop and several other places. There’s a board walk if you want to walk along the water. We appreciated having the Keurig, which seemed faster than a normal Keurig, perfect for another cup of coffee at the spur of the moment. We love Manteo for the low-key vibes yet convenient access to everything the Outer Banks has to offer. This well-maintained, well-equipped condo in the Shallowbag Bay club offered great views, peace and quiet, and the convenience of a quick walk into town or a short drive to the beaches. The condo had everything we needed including plenty of towels, paper products, soap and shampoo. As someone who likes to workout on vacation, the gym was phenomenal. The complex is quiet with great views on both sides. The little town of Monteo was so cute and it was a great option to avoid the hustle and bustle of the beach. Beds were great for those who like a firm mattress. The owners left amazing restaurant recommendations. I also highly recommend visiting the Alligator River nature preserve at dusk to see the bears. We also enjoyed Coquina beach and the beach at Janette’s peer. ##### Jaime W.
