Located right inside the Village Lodge, our two bedroom condo has the best location in town. Others advertise a village location but in reality they are across the street and several blocks away. Not us. Our immaculately clean condo is just steps away from dozens of restaurants, bistros, and shops. But best of all, right downstairs you can catch the Gondola to the Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort. No more lugging your skis, boards and boots into your car, hunting for parking at the resort, and trudging for a mile to the ski lifts. You will just park your vehicle in the underground parking garage, and never use it the rest of your stay! There is also another jacuzzi spa in our building, just an elevator ride away. \*\*\*Use the gym located in our building for cardio or weights with our new Peloton bikes ( and treadmill, elliptical, bicycle, weights, etc.). \*\*\*Bring the kids down to the Village promenade to play in the snow, enjoy the various games around the village, roast marshmallows around the firepits, or watch the Saturday parade with Mammoth Host "Woolly." \*\*\*Catch the daytime free shuttle or the evening free trolley to get anywhere in Mammoth. \*\*\*Enjoy the secure, heated underground garage to park your car and avoid shoveling it out after a big storm! CONVENIENCE Check in is super easy. No need to find a rental company office late at night to collect the keys--there is a lockbox right outside our front door. Lockbox combination, wifi passwords and a welcome email with recommendations will be emailed to you one week before arrival. I like to cook so not the kitchen for me as far as supplies go but it’s very doable.Good parking.Nice pool. Oh and we saw a bear strolling through the village late at night. We watched from the balcony. That was awesome!Very good coffee shop walking distance. Everything was great except the water temp didn’t get hot enough in shower. Also, some parishables were ruined in fridge. Didn’t realize the dial was set to coldest temp. Turned it down to 7 from 9 and still too cold. My eggs, salad supplies, and some other items froze. Very clean, comfortable, good parking, and well located in the village lodge. We (family of four) had a great time in mammoth hiking, biking, and swimming, and the spacious 2BR condo was great to come back to after a long day. Kitchen was well fitted out, the pool and sauna were well utilised by our crew. The condo has a homely feel, a nice selection of books, and the hosts left insightful tips about the best of mammoth. Jan 15, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication Disliked: Location #### Very noisy unit We stayed in the White Mountain Lodge Unit which is on the third floor. Its a 2 bed/2bath. We are two adults and two kids. The unit is very noisy. It's almost directly above Lakanuki the Tiki Bar in the village thus, when they play music you will hear and feel the music. Some nights the music was going until 2:00 a.m. Thus, you can't open your windows without getting more noise. Lakanuki's trash area is also directly below the unit which creates more noise. And, just outside the unit is a "loading dock" area for the entire hotel/building. Some morning they started unloading truck of linens/towels extra early in the morning so sleeping in was difficult. Then, there are mini gas operated "tractors" that were hauling the trash for what seemed to be the entire Village and they keep driving by the unit at also. The unit also catches street noise. It's a very noisy place overall. ##### Vicken A.
