Escape to Mammoth Lakes for a mountain getaway and enjoy the convenient location of this pet-friendly unit has to offer. This two-story condo features 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, and is located at the Val D'Isere complex, which is walking distance to The Village, on the Winter shuttle route and conveniently accessible from the ski back trail. Regardless of which season you are visiting Mammoth, this is the perfect vacation home option. Guests will find themselves less than a 5-minute walk away from the Gondola and only a short car ride away from the Sierra Star Golf Course, shopping, and additional dining options. Whether your visit involves skiing down the mountains, playing a game of golf, or just relaxing in the Val D’Isere pool and hot tub area, you are sure to have a memorable visit.

The condo features a spacious open floor plan seamlessly connecting the living room, kitchen, and dining area. The living room is furnished with comfortable seating gathered around a custom rock, wood-burning fireplace and flat screen Smart TV, WiFi and a DVD player. An extensive collection of DVD’s are provided for family entertainment. The living room has a pull out sleeper sofa for additional sleeping. Across from the living room is the dining area set with seating for 6 for everyone to gather over a home cooked meal. The fully stocked kitchen offers all you should need to prepare meals. The unit also offers a private washer / dryer giving you all the comforts of home. On the upper level of the condo, the first bedroom features a Queen bed with TV and access to the en-suite full bath with tub/shower combo. The lower level downstairs offers the additional two bedrooms and a full bath. The second bedroom offers a Queen with flat screen TV, and the third bunk room offers a Full over Queen bunk bed and TV. The full shared bath on this level has a separate vanity area and tub/shower combo. The private laundry is located on the lower level. As an added bonus you can bring Fido along as this unit does allow 1 pet and is pet friendly!

PLEASE NOTE: The complex community amenities are currently under construction and unavailable for access, with no estimated time of re-opening. This includes the pool, hot tub, common area laundry facilities and recreation room. During summer months there will be active construction activity in this area, which may cause some noise disruption and vehicle activity. We apologize for any inconvenience. No refunds will be provided for facilities or amenities not available. But remember - all guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, Pilates and cycle studio and more. This unit sleeps a maximum of 8. Guests will be provided two parking passes for the outdoor parking. The location was awesome and the place was perfect for our needs. Only thing was that the water didn’t really drain in the downstairs bathroom, and we were given minimal toilet paper for a 6 day stay with 6 people so had to go procure our own.

Amazing Rental

This was the best VRBO we have stayed in. Everything was easy from picking up keys, to taking our belongings in (only a couple stairs down to the door), to parking, and walking to the village. It looked just like the pictures. Everything we needed was there in the condo and easy to find. It has a wonderfully cozy feel to it. We would definitely stay here again!

Great, clean, updated with perfect accommodations you would expect from a host.

Facility is updated, welcoming and accommodating for large families or multi families staying in one location with plenty of separation. Extra blankets and pillows, to various choices of coffee, and plenty of firewood. Easy access over the bridge to the Village. I plan on renting again next year. Very impressed with this unit.

We stayed there for 5 nights over the 4th of July and had a great time. The property is great and in a perfect location for mammoth. My only semi-issue was that the property description/photos showed there was a nice pool but when we arrived it was fenced off/under construction. It would have been nice to know in advance so we didn’t tell our kids that they could go swimming.

Thanksgiving Stay

The unit appeared to have recent renovations to the upstairs floor, including the master bedroom, master bath, kitchen, and living room. The downstairs rooms and bathroom are a bit more dated, but if you're simply looking for somewhere to sleep then it works just fine. The hot water heater had issues causing hot water to run out after a few minutes in both showers, but Mammoth Reservations did a fantastic job quickly addressing the issue, including sending a plumber within an hour Thanksgiving morning. They also communicated very well and followed up to ensure the hot water issue got addressed quickly, indicating a high degree of professionalism, customer service, and investment in successfully resolving the issue. The floors and carpet had some minor dirt and dust accumulation, which was a bit more pronounced for us since we had kids on the floor, but otherwise if but for the hot water issue, we would recommend and stay there again.

The kitchen is new and beautiful. The only drawback was lack of hot tub on the premises despite having it listed in the description. It's there, but it's not functioning. We did have access to the Snowcreek Athletic Club for a pool, but we had to drive across town to get to it - not the same relaxing post ski vibe we were going for when we booked it.

Everything was pretty accurately portrayed (but the top bunk seemed to be just a box spring). The pool was NOT open - looks like it was damaged during storms and under construction. Laundry in the house was great! Everything was clean when we arrived. Location was nice, but it's a steep walk to and from the village (slightly tough for my 79 yo mother, but fine for the rest of us). No issues, parking was adequate. I would stay again.

Great location, could use some updates for the price

Walking distance to the Village and right off the Village ski back trail for easy access after a full day of shredding. The upper level of this unit was updated (nice new kitchen, ample space in the main living area, updated master bed/bath), however the lower level where two bedrooms were located along with the second bathroom were VERY outdated and in great need of a refresh. The carpet was stained, cabinets chipped up, older tiled countertops and dated furniture. The bunk beds were a nice log style however and the kids really enjoyed having their own separate space to play and relax. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen, complete with spices, sprays, extra plates/bowls/silverware, etc, but bring your own toiletries as the provided hand soap, shampoo/conditioner, lotion, etc were very small. Access to the Snowcreek Athletic club was a nice bonus, although given the distance, we only made it there once during our stay. But it was still nice to have a hot tub and game of pool to close out the evening! We had to call the property manager over what we thought was a leak from the unit above us based on the sound of rushing water through the walls. We were told it’s just how the plumbing was in these units. It happened at odd hours, but as long as we kept the master bathroom door shut it didn’t prevent us from sleeping. Overall we had a great trip, but I think the rate for this unit was a bit steep given the condition.
