Location! Location! Steps to Canyon Lodge. Literally ski out your backdoor to Canyon Lodge and the Canyon Express Chair. This 1849 condo has absolutely the closest access to Mammoth mountain ski lifts making it ideal for skiers. If you don't ski you can stay at home and watch the skiers from the warmth of your fireplace. You will never have to move your car out of the underground parking garage during your stay at Mammoth. You can walk just steps to the Gondola for a ride to the Village and or use the free Mammoth shuttle which stops in front of the 1849 condos and can take you to the city center. Relax in our 1500 sq. ft. condo that has a rustic Mammoth Mountain cabin appeal. The living room features a big screen Smart TV with Blue ray and a home theatre system along with a large DVD collection. There is a highspeed wireless internet. The condo boasts 2 master bedroom suites with king sized beds and full baths and 1 bedroom with a queen bed and its own full bath and 1 queen size pull out sofa bed. The unit has its own washer and dryer just off the kitchen. The club house features a heated outdoor swimming pool, 2 outdoor hot tubs, 1 indoor hot tub, sauna, ping pong table, lounge with big screen TV, video arcade games and laundry facilities. In the summer enjoy the outdoor fire and barbecue pit and private outdoor picnic area. We were here the whole week of Thanksgiving. The house has everything we needed to cook the full Thanksgiving meal. We appreciated all the details of every single thing we can think of that at times are missing in other units. We never ran out of toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, washer and dryer necessities and dish pods. It had endless amenities, everything we needed for our trip. The view from the deck was beautiful. It was spacious enough for our family and the decorations we're so cute! We needed nothing but groceries and beer to satisfy everything we were looking for in our annual ski week at Mammoth. Only thing we would point out that there are only 3 real beds so you’ll need to share one of the King beds or sleep on the pull out couch (a comfortable pull out is a rare thing). But that is minor considering the lifts are just across the street and you can spend your afternoon in the jacuzzi or looking up at Lincoln Mountain from the back deck. ##### John R. We had 7 adults staying in the unit (3 from same family in the large bedroom with the sofa bed). The unit was right across the street from the Canyon lodge so you could literally walk 50 yards and put on your skis and ski down to the lift line. The non-skiers, when not hiking or snowshoeing, took advantage of the free Village Gondola to go into the Village area for shopping and entertainment. We stayed at many VBROs and this was one of the most well stocked units with a welcome package plus a fully stocked kitchen with just about every spice and condiment needed. It might sound trivial but cloths hangers and hot water galore! Our host were very responsive to question leading up to and including our visit. We all put it on our bucket list to come back again in the future. ##### Kathryn J. The location was a few mins walk to Canyon Lodge, we had new skiers so this made things super easy. The home is comfortable, the beds high quality, the kitchen super well stocked and the laundry a big bonus. The spa's and sauna in the common area are big and clean and can handle plenty of people.
