This cosy 2-bedroom, 2-bath townhome offers pool and forest views, vaulted ceilings and skylights just one block from The Village and Gondola. Perfect for families or small groups, this cozy retreat comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. Upstairs, enjoy a bright living area with a wood-burning fireplace, comfortable seating, flatscreen TV and a sofa sleeper ideal for relaxing after a day on the slopes or trails. The dining area seats six, and the fully equipped kitchen includes everything needed to prepare meals. A full bathroom with a tub/shower combo is also located on this level. Downstairs, both bedrooms provide a quiet retreat. The primary bedroom features a king bed, while the second bedroom includes two twin beds. Located in the desirable Mammoth Estates community, you’ll enjoy easy access to dining, shopping, nightlife and skiing while still tucked away from the crowds. A shuttle stop across the street makes getting around town simple and convenient. On-site amenities include a year-round hot tub and sauna, recreation room and laundry facilities, plus an outdoor pool available during the summer months. We had a fantastic family holiday staying at #133. The apartment was well equipped, quiet and cosy with great details like an electric kettle (for us tea-drinkers) and family games. The kids loved the pool area too. We appreciated being so close to the village and the shuttle bus too.

Clean, good bedrooms. Only suggestion to improve would be to have a new, bigger TV installed as well as an Apple TV. Nobody watches cable TV anymore and the current TV is from the last century.

The unit is a short walk to the gondola, and is brightly lit and the kitchen is well stocked. The layout of the unit is interesting with one full bathroom being upstairs, which is a surprise though we managed it okay. I wish there were more table games stocked, as most of the places we rented over the years, so the renters can have something to do when they are snowed in.The entrance of the unit has lots of hooks which is nice for hanging wet gloves and clothes after coming back from the wet snow activities.Overall, we had a good time in Mammoth, and unit provided some warmth and comfort while we were there.But we were asked to pickup check-in package from the office two miles away, while there's a front office right next to the unit. Not having a car and not knowing the town makes check-in process a hassle. Also we were asked to return the parking permit back to the office two miles away again when checking out. When we got four feet of snow within three days, it would have been very difficult to check out, just to return some stuff. I eventually called and got the permission to leave the parking permit in the unit, but it's is still a hassle! BTW, there's a threat on the permit saying there's a fine for not returning the permit to an office which is hard to get to in deep snow.All in all, we like the unit but don't like the check-in/checkout process, especially when the snow is several feet deep.

The Mammoth Estates location is great. It was an easy process getting key codes and parking permits. The condo we stayed in was very outdated, had a bad smell and did not feel clean. The oven and some of the stovetop burners did not work. We called to report it but they were unable to fix it. Unfortunately, all the food we brought required an oven. We will definitely return to Mammoth Estates but not condo #133.

Location close to Village. Very convenient. Comfortable beds. Condo in need of TLC. Fridge was not working for days and some of our food spoiled. Had issues with kitchen oven not working. Heating in condo is not even. 2nd floor gets nice and warm while first floor where bedrooms are does not get very warm.

Location is amazing. House is very outdated and there are random nails popping out of the ground so you have to watch you step at all times. The bedrooms get very warm and then very cold so the temperature regulation can be an issue. Also, very thin walls. If you’re only focused on location this place is it, but don’t expect much more. Not even a can opener.

Refrigerator in the kitchen was apparently broken and very smelly, working refrigerator put in the living room which takes up dining space and makes things very awkward for cooking/dining. This should have been disclosed before renting the unit.

Expecting more for the price
To start, a 5PM checking is absolutely ridiculous. Yes, we saw the time before booking, but it was extremely inconvenient after having to spend the night on the hwy caught on snow, then upon finally arriving after having been on the road without sleep for 24+ hrs, being told "Nope- you can't check in at a decent hour- sleep in your car for another 3 hours in the parking lot". The unit was obviously clean and ready way before 5pm because it was freezing cold inside and took forever to warm up due to outdated hvac. The unit was overall pretty outdated, but we had a good time. I'd stay again, but certainly not at the same price.
