The property is absolutely stunning, with a lovely fire pit that we enjoyed, and a peaceful private lake that added to the serene atmosphere. The house itself was gorgeous—spacious, clean, and very well-maintained. We really appreciated the tranquil surroundings and the opportunity to unwind in such a beautiful setting. The only downside was the limited space for eating inside, and unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate, so we couldn’t take advantage of the outdoor dining area. We really enjoyed our stay. When the ferry was running, there was easy access to mammoth cave. I advise to check the hours ahead of time to plan accordingly. Our kids loved fishing in the pond. The adults enjoyed the view. There was a drainage issue with one of the showers but it was fixed very promptly. Overall an excellent stay! ##### Angie R. The children especially enjoyed the full size built in bunk beds and the pond that they enjoyed fishing in! The porch was welcoming with its swing and dining table! The fire pit was very nice as well! We took the Green River Ferry and were in Mammoth Cave National Park very quickly! The furniture was comfortable and the decor was beautiful! The bunk room has full sized beds so it sleeps 8\. What a gorgeous and well kept home. If you plan to visit Mammoth Cave, book tours ahead of time or you aren’t allowed in. We did Crystal Onyx cave tour instead and it was enjoyed by all! ##### Katie J. The house was beautiful the landscape was wide open and well-maintained couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The beaver moon coming up on the horizon was a pinnacle moment The owners were engaging and available and always polite. If you’re looking to take a break from the hustle and bustle, I recommend this place 1000 times. It was just what we needed. Plenty of space for our group. Although we felt we were living with the previous tenants. Clothes left behind the door in the bunk room, clothes left in the dryer. Crumbs and water marks in frig.
