The property is even more beautiful in person than in the photos, and it can very comfortably sleep 10 people if needed. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully equipped with everything we needed—even a bag of charcoal was provided!The view was serene, and the peace and quiet were exactly what we needed. If you're driving, be aware that we saw many deer (Bambi sightings!) both during the day and at night. It's important to drive slowly and stay alert—we truly enjoyed seeing them up close.The host met us at check-in, and the door uses a keycode, which made things even more convenient. The property is right on the lake. Spacious lawns offer tranquility. Wonderful lanes and streets for walks or bike rides. Lots of room for our 5 family members to hang out. Plenty of amenities for a large group. The local restaurants are better than expected for a small town. Pretty special place. We have been coming here now 7 out of the last 8 years for the 4th of July. Can’t express how much we love it here, the house is right on the water and able to walk right in. The yard is always kept up and the trees provide great shade during the day. We have been out here with anywhere from 4-10 people and never felt crowded. Jon is always very attentive and deals with anything that comes up very quickly. We highly recommend staying at the Mallard Mist!! ##### Danny M. The home was clean, every needed was there, towels dish cloths, dishes were well stocked as well as cookware. The children really loved it because they could swim in the lake everyday. They had only positive things to say about the house and its awesome patio view of the lake. They will gladly stay there again, and I’m considering a girls trip there as well.
