Only 1 lot of shampoo and body wash provided for a couple over two nights. The air conditioner is noisy and only operates at 18’. There is no towel attendant for The Shore Hotel patrons ( share middle pool with Swisse Gardens who pay less for rooms and get towels) and vending machine was broken, so couldn’t get water or snacks. There was always issues with the elevators. Not much in the shopping complex. Loved the Roof Top Pasma Bar. Both units are quite spacious but the conditions are not really good..wall paper in the apartment being tore, no unifi, airconds are not well functioning. The toilets were clean too, although not perfect, is well maintained. Water pressure from the shower is so-so but can do the job. The only drawback is that the cupboards seems a little dusty, so we didn't put anything in. The aircon to the gym was also not working and equipment doesn't seem to be very well maintained. I happened to reach early and wanted to check-in both rooms and get the keys as my friend will arrive past midnight. The Staff refused to allow me to check-in on behalf of my friend, unless he sees the ID of the person; even though i booked the room under same booking. After exchange of unhappy and unpleasant conversations, finally we got the room and it late night and miserable experience of checking-in. I parked the car next to the hotel and to find that in the morning that it was premium paid parking and hotel did not update anything about parking while checking in. The room internet wasn't working. After few years of numerous visits and even booking this place for friends and groups, this experience leaves me no choice and i have no plans to book this hotel again. Overall, it makes my last visit to this place... One member of staff on reception so was waiting a long time to check in. 1st room allocated had not been cleaned properly, safe did not work and was turned round completely ?? Patio doors did not lock and the air conditioning units for the hotel were right outside our door so it was extremely noisy. I asked to change rooms but the lady at the reception said that she had to send maintenance up to check what I had told her was true !!!!! I couldn’t believe it - this was about 8pm and we were tired and just wanted a functioning room so we could freshen up. The staff on reception were miserable and unhelpful throughout. We eventually moved up to a higher floor but again the safe did not work !! This room could have done with a good clean too. There were stains in the bedsheets. Won’t stay here again. Needs condemning. I used Bunga Raya from the Shore Mall then reached shops like selling plus sized t shirts, shop like Mustaffa .jst walk straight.. Jonker st also got public bank. Eateries like mamak stalls, chinese food, bbq,hotpot , thai nearby /at Shore Jonker etc cendol,, nyonya, simple mee goteng or fried noodles etc l and chicken rice but i dont remember seeing jpnese food which anther location nearby got, Jln KJL 8? etc. Grab rides at the range below RM20 in melaka areas like Aeon Ayer Keroh, , Lotus Bdrya Melaka, Melaka Zoo, Some honey bee attraction, etc. Most vital, the rate not that exoensive.
