The best time to visit Mahaut, Dominica, is during the dry season, which runs from December to May.During these months, you'll find consistently warm temperatures, typically ranging from 25°C to 30°C, and significantly less rainfall. This makes it ideal for outdoor activities like exploring the Morne Trois Pitons National Park, hiking to Trafalgar Falls, or enjoying the beaches. The lower humidity also makes for a more comfortable experience overall. The shoulder months of November and June can also be good options. While there's a slightly higher chance of rain than in the peak dry season, you'll often find fewer crowds and potentially better value on accommodation. The weather is still generally pleasant, allowing for most activities. We generally advise against travelling during the hurricane season, from July to October, as this period sees the highest rainfall and the risk of tropical storms.
