Beautiful and quiet area, convenient to everything in Maggie Valley and Waynesville. The elk were out at night and the provided quite a show each night. The Elk Valley Cabin is in a good location. We arrived on Wednesday 9/17/25 and stayed through Sunday. Everything was really nice and cozy. Only thing we did not care for was the living room furniture. It was too small (in size) My husband is 6'1" and the recliner was more like for someone 5'1". only love seats (small) available. Other than that we enjoyed our stay so much we are buying a house there. So see ya soon Maggie Valley! ##### Michelle F. The only drawback to this cabin is its advertisement. We saw no elk in the area. Mostly because of extreme buildup of cabins in the community. There is minimal area for a groundhog to roam, let alone an elk. Again this cabin is wonderful and we would even rent it again. We were just disappointed by the way the area is portrayed as an area friendly to wildlife. ##### Carl D. We saw 3-4 elk every single day right outside our cabin. The cabin was clean and cozy. It had detergent, coffee, soaps, plenty of towels and toiletries. Games for the kids and access to tv.
