"Lovely resort hotel . Our room was enormous, the pool was relaxing and breakfast was amazing - so much choice and all really fresh . It’s a bit out of the city but there are local buses and train on the doorstep and a free shuttle bus too. We came to see Fukuoka and have a rest from Tokyo . The hotel was great for both. Only downside for us was no vegetarian option at Dinner so we ate in Fukuoka . "

"The hotel overall is a 5\*. Especially the front of house staff, Akbota. She spoke excellent English and provided top notch service. Very professional and knowledgeable! Always went over and above the call of duty and went back to our room to help me look for something I left behind after checking out. The hotel itself was very conveniently located. The onsen was nice. The aesthetics very zen and minimal (which was tasteful). The negatives are: 1. There was a strand of hair on the bathroom towel when we initially checked in so it definitely wasn’t ours. 2. The room was very small 3. They have what they deem eco-housekeeping. I’m fine with not changing the sheets daily. However they don’t make the bed nor wash the glasses But overall, the stay was very pleasant and again, kudos to Akbota!! "

What was amazing on this trip was that the Hotel Manager helped us flag down a van taxi when he noticed we were having trouble reserving one.
