The parking lot is underground, and a little difficult to get into, and there was some construction noise, but we'd been told about that the night before. It's a clean modern hotel, with all the standard amenities just a short walk from the main commercial area of Machida. The air conditioner worked well. Although, I selected a non-smoking room, I was still able to smell the smoke coming in through the vents. I am very sensitive to smell and smoke and it was quite bothersome. I also found it inconvenient to have to step up to enter the bathroom. I always worried that I could potentially trip by stepping out of the bathroom. The room was very dated, it definitely needs to be updated. It was difficult to communicate with staff and in the end I was charged an extra fee of almost $40 that I have no idea what it was for. Each stay was a minimum of one week. This stay was two weeks in duration. The front desk and cleaning staff are amazing. The front desk staff has worked very well with me despite the fact I only speak English. The beds are far more comfortable than other Japanese hotels I've stayed at. The rooms are always clean. New towels and water are provided daily along with a complete room cleaning every four days.
