« Maine is our favorite place to be. This property was great. Tons of shade, a beautiful lake, dock, fire pit.. we had a blast. Even swam in a rainstorm and it was beautiful!! We visited Eastport and fell in love with a small little fishing town. Jasper beach was BEAUTIFUL even in the fog, such a special place. The location is VERY remote, which we frequently look for. A mid-point for exploring both Acadia/Bar Harbor and the Bold Coast - Quoddy Head, Lubec, Western Head Preserve and East Port. »

« If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway then this is it! The house itself was immaculate, not to mention the waterfront location and private beach. The house was equipped with anything and everything you would need. Traveling with our 11 month old, we especially appreciated the full-sized crib and highchair. « Great time ice fishing. We were 5 guys and fit fine at the rental. Kitchen was well equipped for making meals. Access to river during the winter with a side by side we had to go to different entry point but it wasn’t far. Owner was next door so any questions were addressed immediately. Would recommend. »

« Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was spacious and clean. Kitchen had some pantry essentials and everything needed to cook some nights. The grocery store is 3-5 minutes away. The drive toAcadia took us an hour and ten minutes to an hour and a half due to traffic getting on the island. It was nice to come back to the quiet house each evening. Would highly recommend. »

We enjoyed the dock/water access as well - our kids were able to spend some time fishing and even waded in the water. The drive is a little far to Acadia (a little over an hour) but we were still able to use the rental home as a base for visiting the National Park. »
