« A perfect place to relax and soak in nature. The cottage was our base camp as we traveled to Acadia National Park, Lubec and Machias. The deck was the perfect place to drink coffee in the morning and watch the sunset in the evening. »

« Great place to get away from it all. Remote and stunningly beautiful. Great amenities for enjoying the outdoors. Loved the firepit at night, eating outdoors, and the closeness to the water. Loved exploring the bay area at low tide finding sea creatures. Contact Captain Matt's for getting good deals on fresh lobster. The cabin fit my family of 10 great. We hope to come back again. »

« We had a fantastic stay! The house was clean, quiet and comfortable and waking up to a fresh sea breeze every morning was energizing. We went swimming nearly every day and took several area hikes. We also loved the proximity to Canada, and did a day trip to Campobello Island. Our only complaint: We couldn't stay longer! We can't wait to come back. »

« Superbe chalet très près de la mer. Fenestration et grande galerie qui permettent de profiter de la vue de la mer et ce, même par temps de pluie. Visite faite avec 2 chiens de grande taille, chalet parfait pour eux également. Seul hic c’est qu’il n’y a vraiment pas grand chose à Jonesport, plus proche épicerie à 22 minutes d’auto. Très propre et très beau chalet! »

« Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was spacious and clean. Kitchen had some pantry essentials and everything needed to cook some nights. The grocery store is 3-5 minutes away. The drive toAcadia took us an hour and ten minutes to an hour and a half due to traffic getting on the island. It was nice to come back to the quiet house each evening. Would highly recommend. »

« My wife and I felt very lucky to have found The Miners Den which is a very new creation of a great proprietor who really cares about your experience.The hand built cabin is gently fitted to the landscape of balsam firs and hardwoods with a light touch.It reminded me of the few small cabins in the White Mountains you find along the trails.Everything you need less food is provided.For a couple in their sixties with a friendly dog we will be excited to get back there and see what’s happening.Oh...

« We really enjoyed our stay. Sandy beaches are rare for this area, and our kids had a great time exploring the rocky coastline and playing in the sand. We saw interesting wildlife, and watched the boats go in and out of the bay each day. The property was clean and well-maintained, and the owners were excellent communicators, responding right away to any questions that we had. »
