Rooms are very hip and stylish as is the check in process. Our host met us at the door as we entered into a magical 1600 ‘ building with original small wooden spiral staircase. The hotel is walking distant from the central station, the area is safe. We visited the city on foot because we like walking and the weather was pleasant. The tramway is another way to travel around. The hotel is very clean and the staff were very polite and very helpful. The breakfast bar was a bonus which helped us to have a good start of the day. The staff were very welcoming and made our stay more enjoyable. The breakfast was superb and plentiful. We were in a room on the top floor and as the building is 330 years old although the stairs are steep it made the hotels Character. The room was given a modern art look which we found delightful. Though the app said the reseption hours were limited we didn’t realize the check in was within limited hours as well. Still, the host sent us an sms with the needed information to check in by ourselves, which is always the preferred option. Thumbs up! Really nice place, in the middle of the city. An old building with steep stairs, but well maintained and super cozy! Voorafgaand aan ons bezoek had de eigenaar al contact opgenomen en de nodige informatie doorgegeven. We zijn daarnaast erg vriendelijk ontvangen en konden heel vroeg de kamer al in (rond 12:00). Onze kamer was leuk ingericht met o.a. allerlei ouderwetse dingen zoals een typemachine. Het bed was prima.
