Summary:  
Nestled in the old town of Lyme Regis, you'll find The Bothy. A wonderful coastal escape for a solo adventurer, couple or small family, you'll be perfectly placed to enjoy the town’s eateries, shops, and beach front. You'll have plenty of places to explore right from the doorstep including lots of local favourites such as The Millside, Lyme Regis’s microbrewery, and The Town Mill Bakery.  
  
The Space:  
Located in the bustling streets of Lyme Regis’s old town, The Bothy is a ground floor, self-catering apartment with everything you could want when visiting the Dorset coast. Located at the bottom of Lyme and on the flattest part of town, the apartment is an ideal option for those wanting to avoid hills.  
  
You’ll step into the combined living, kitchen and dining area which has warm orange interiors and plenty of space for two people to feel at home. Within this area, you have a well-equipped kitchen, a dining table and black rattan chair set, as well as two well-sized sofas to relax on. The Smart TV is perfect for cosy nights in. Equipped with modern amenities, the kitchen features a Nespresso machine, dishwasher, gas hob, oven, toaster, kettle and microwave.  
  
The bedroom offers a comfy double bed with premium bed linens as well as a luxurious velvet throw for the colder months on the Dorset coast. The open wardrobe, large chest of drawers and bedside storage offer plenty of space for your belongings.  
  
The bathroom has vibrant purple tiles with traditional fixtures and a stylish walk-in shower.

Guests have access to the full property.  
  
The keys to The Bothy are accessed via a key safe box, and full details will be provided prior to check-in.  
  
There are several pay and display parking options in Lyme Regis.  
  
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome to stay at The Bothy per reservation.

Nestled along the stunning Jurassic Coast, Lyme Regis is a picturesque seaside town steeped in history and natural beauty. The Bothy is situated in the heart of this charming town, known for its quaint cobbled streets, colourful cottages, and vibrant seaside atmosphere.  
  
Just a short stroll away, you’ll find the iconic Cobb Harbour, immortalised in literary history and offering breathtaking views over Lyme Bay. The nearby Monmouth Beach and Town Beach are perfect for leisurely walks, fossil hunting, and soaking up the coastal scenery. Fossil enthusiasts will love the area’s rich history, as Lyme Regis is part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, famed for its prehistoric discoveries.

The nearest railway station to Lyme Regis is at Axminster which is six miles away. From Axminster, there are direct services operating to Andover, Basingstoke, Exeter, London, Salisbury, Woking and Yeovil.  
  
A number of bus routes can be found operating in Lyme Regis. Routes run to Axminster, Seaton and Weymouth.  
  
The nearest airport to Lyme Regis is Exeter Airport which is 21.2 miles away. Other nearby airports include Bristol (47 miles) and Southampton (70.8 miles).
