Great lower unit of a charming two unit home next to the Ludington Municipal Marina and walking distance to beach, harbor, downtown and boat launch. Ideal for the fisherman in the group. This is a 2/2 with a living room and dining room that seats 6\. There is a second floor separate apartment listed as The Dock House-Upper (listing 4813469). This cottage has a large deck in the back and a large front porch to sit out and watch the Badger come to port. The cottage is fully furnished with a washer and dryer, freezer in the basement, cable TV, WIFI and a full kitchen with everything you need for cooking. If you don't want to cook, you are walking distance to the downtown area with some of the finest restaurants and bars. Take a walk along Pere Marquette lake or out to the lighthouse on Stearns Beach. It was an easy walk to downtown, the city marina, and the city beach and park. The lower part of Dock House is definitely themed for the lake and contained everything we needed. It was just two of us, and although it contained beds for 5, we think it would seem small unless kids made up some of that number. We cooked for most of our meals and there were pots, pans, utensils, and dishes for everything we made. My only observation is that the master bed is a double, not a queen, if that makes a difference. We saw it listed as both in different listings.
