Great place to diacover Lucca
We had an amazing stay at Perla d'ambra. The room was very confortable with a large bed and a brand new bathroom. Debora was a lovely guest. She helped us discover the city and was very acvomadatimg for checkin/check out. Highly recommand !

Veldig koselig, lite hotell. Super beliggenhet nær parkering og for alt av aktiviteter. Rent, pent og veldig hyggelig vertinne. Noe støy fra gaten (spesielt lørdag, men vi fikk utdelt ørepropper, så det gikk fint) Litt hard seng, men deilige puter og veldig koselig rom. Vi kommer tilbake hit neste gang vi skal til Lucca.

The owner, Debora, was simply amazing, very friendly and proud of her hotel. It had all the accommodations and some extras. We could use the kitchen, had free coffee and all kinds of fountain water, free foods and cookies. The room was really, really nice and we will definitely stay there again when we decide to come back.

Sono stato due notti a Lucca presso questo b&b e lo consiglio vivamente. La camera era pulita, comoda e molto accogliente. La proprietaria è stata gentilissima e mi ha fornito tante informazioni sulla città. Stra consigliato! Grazie di nuovo.

Locatie was midden in het centrum en goed bereikbaar. Het was een leuke verrassing dat er een keuken was met gratis koffie en thee aanwezig. De eigenaresse was erg behulpzaam en aardig. Een aanrader voor iedereen!

Super beliggenhed
Vil du prøve det autentiske Italien, med flot værelse, hjemmelavet morgenmad (hvis du har lyst), dejlig seng + forskellige muligheder for puder, pænt badeværelse, rent og super centralt i Lucca, så er dette stedet. Der er ialt 3 værelser og ejeren gør opholdet perfekt og vil gå langt for, at du får er fantastisk ophold. Det eneste minus, er larm fra baren under hotellet, men de udleverede ørepropper gør det godt.

We had a most wonderful stay at Perle d’Ambra. It’s perfectly located near to the station and piazza Napoleone we had a wonderful welcome and Debora was kind, flexible and gave us great recommendations. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful bed and breakfast
We loved Lucca so much more than expected. The location of this place is fantastic. If you bring a car you do have to park outside of the walls but cost wasn’t bad (8 euros a day). The rooms are impeccably decorated. The beds are very comfortable. Debora was very friendly. Unfortunately due to covid we couldn’t get breakfast in the place which I think would have made the experience nicer but she did give coupons to use at a patisserie. We slept in too late for breakfast our first day so we only went once but the pastries were delicious. Note, while the bathroom is very nice - the shower is very tiny, I hit my arms on the walls when I lifted my arms to wash my hair, which is probably just a function of Lucca being a very old city. The only thing I wish she would change is you have to tell her exactly when you are going to arrive if not you might get stuck waiting outside on the street with your bags. This is problematic because it’s nearly impossible to know the exact time of arrival when you are traveling. She should at least have some sort of waiting area. Luckily the cafe next door let me use their toilet! However I would still come back and rebook I would just give a larger window for time of arrival. It’s a really pretty and thoughtfully decorated place.

Was in der Rezension geschrieben wurde Es ist beschämend und enthält Lügen. Unter dem Gästehaus gibt es eine Kneipe und keinen Nachtclub und Kappen werden immer in jedem Badezimmer jedes Zimmers für Störungen von der Straße zur Verfügung gestellt. A gem of a guest house
We were lucky enough to spend a week at Perle d'Ambra mid June and it was the most amazing stay. Debora and her family greeted us on arrival and they could not do enough to make sure we had everything we needed. They made us feel very welcome. The accommodation is lovely and authentic, very comfortable, exceptionally clean and in a fantastic location close to the railway station (which we used every day to get around.) We very quickly felt at home. I'm a little fussy and the room didn't have a full length mirror when we arrived so I made a suggestion to Debora (prompted by Hotels.com to provide a first impression) that some guests would find it beneficial to have one. Within a day, she had contacted me to say one would be fitted and lo and behold there it was when we returned after a day out. Lucca is a stunning town made even more special by our stay at Perle d'Ambra. The guest treatment we received went above and beyond expectations and we can't recommend this place highly enough.

Die Unterkunft ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Der Empfang war super organisiert und sehr herzlich. Perfekte Lage. Ein Manko gibt es leider - noch - die Fenster sind einfach verglast und es ist ziemlich laut. Ein Austausch soll jedoch bald vorgenommen werden, dann ist es perfekt. Vielen Dank, Debora.

Great place, great location, fabulous host!
Perle d'Ambra was a perfect guesthouse for our stay. Our host, Debra, was super friendly and helpful, the room was great - modern shower and bathroom, roomy enough to move around for a couple, comfy bed and linens, and clean. The location for exploring Lucca was fantastic. We opted to have Debra provide breakfast, which was really convenient to have, right next to our room in the communal kitchen - an excellent deal for so many offerings (eggs, toast, croissants, fruit, cheese, meat, coffee, etc.) and delicious! Guests can use the kitchen anytime to grab a coffee or cookie etc. Debra was very responsive and helpful - provided restaurant recommendations, etc. - and she is a delight! I would highly recommend this guesthouse. (You have to carry your luggage up to the second floor - no elevator - but this is very common, and was not a big deal.)

Einfach erste Klasse! Das kleine Apartment ist mit viel liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Es ist nicht nur sehr sauber und großzügig, vielmehr hat die Gastgeberin auch mit ihrer offenen und freundlichen Art überzeugt. Sie war sehr bemüht uns den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu machen und hat dies mehr als nur übertroffen. Das Apartment liegt sehr zentral im Herzen Lucca was es zu einer idealen Ausgangslange macht. Leider ist es einwenig hellhörig zur Straße raus, dies ist allerdings nicht all zu störend. Auf Wunsch, kann man ein Frühstück bestellen, dies ist sehr köstlich und mit viel Herz zubereiten. Alles in allem, eine absolut klasse Unterkunft! Nur zu empfehlen!!

A very special place to stay in Lucca
An absolute gem of a place to stay. Five stars in all respects. And Debora is an exceptional host. She not only takes delight in ensuring her guests are in every way comfortable. She also came out to help us when our rented car broke down and the car rental company were impossible to get hold of or deal with. A real super host.

La proprietaria si è mostrata subito gentile, disponibile ed accogliente. Stanza molto bella ed accogliente. Situato a 500 metri dalla stazione, ma all'interno delle mura, in zona centrale per quelle che sono state le attività del mio soggiorno a Lucca.

Debora was an exceptional host. She made the checkin very easy. The property is beautiful and very clean. The kitchen had everything you could need and more. Loved the water machine as well as the coffee and breakfast options. Debora helped us arrange a car rental and allowed us to store our luggage past our checkout time. Lucca is a beautiful must see town and Perle d’Ambra will not disappoint. So pleased with our stay here!
