Great view of a calm bay. We enjoyed this as a base for getting around PEI. It's a nice drive to Inn at Bay Fortune for the Fireworks Feast, not far from Point Prim, and maybe 45 minutes to Charlottetown. Spent the first week of September at the Moonlight Cottage. We traveled through PEI in the past but never stopped to visit. We really enjoyed our stay and everything was as advertised on Vrbo. The cottage itself is nice and cozy and its location makes it easy to explore many of the island's east side attractions within an hour's drive or so. The area is quiet and the small public park behind the property was great for our two dogs. Panmure Island's beach is only 15 minutes away, very clean and uncrowded. The hosts really care about making sure everything is fine for their guests. All in all, a very pleasant experience. We would sit on the porch every morning and evening, it was so peaceful and tranquil watching the fishing boats/trawlers, the seals splashing and playing, and the moon coming up over the horizon reflecting on the water.
