"Tim who works the desk is very accommodating and personable. The check in was easy and straight forward. The property reminded me of a hunting cabin rather for fishing. It’s really just a bunk house but it has everything you need and they even provide a food saver with a roll of bags and plenty of ziplock bags for anyone taking home their catch. "We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful waterfront home! The location is peaceful and picturesque, with stunning views right from the deck. The home itself was spotless, cozy, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay feel extra special. The owners provided bikes, which we loved using to explore the area, and even included after-sun butter and handmade soap—such a kind and personal touch! You can tell they truly care about their guests’ comfort. We left feeling relaxed, refreshed, and already dreaming about our next visit. Highly recommend!"

"Small, cute cottage in a very quiet location. Many people just pass through Harker's Island to take the ferry to Cape Lookout, but it's lovely as a destination if you want tranquility and quiet relaxation.There was a problem with the check-in: house wasn't cleaned or accessible when we arrived a couple of hours after check-in time. However, the host immediately responded to our texts and very quickly made everything right.Very nice stay - we especially loved the Seaside Galley, a hidden gem of a "gas station restaurant" that serves absolutely delicious seafood, and the beautiful Sound Side Trail at the Visitor's Center (where you take the ferry). We'd love to return to the island and this property."
