Location is great - is convenient to many restaurants and just a few miles from Louisville. James responds quickly in the rare event you have a question. View is fantastic! Seeing the beautiful sunsets and watchid barges pass was very entertaining. This was our 3rd visit and won't be our last. ##### Deborah T. Loved this place and all the critters we saw including deer, something swimming in the river and the birds. Always something to see especially the barges in all different sizes and shapes. It was private, quiet, safe, spacious and had an incredible view (the entire back side of the house was glass) of the river with Downtown Louisville in the distance. The decor was outstanding and all of the little touches (numerous!) to make us comfortable were so appreciated. We were a short drive to all of the attractions we sought in Louisville and to the local grocery store. The neighborhood is stunning - we enjoyed driving around and through neighborhoods of beautiful homes and endless fences. Don't hesitate to book this gem!! ##### Lisa B. Inside was very pleasant also with full views of the river. The only glitch was losing electricity due to a storm of course over which no one had control. James was very helpful under the circumstances by bringing us flashlights and some battery operated lights. It was a very short drive to restaurants, nature trails, and the pedestrian bridge area. Road noise was present, but didn’t bother us. The entrance to the home faced the river, which was a bit confusing, but we figured it out. Our kids appreciated each having their own sofa beds in the main room. We weren’t our usual communicative selves, but the hosts were very communicative and responsive. After another VRBO bailed on us this was the find that saved our weekend. Would book again.
