This property could definitely use an update. I’ve been to many old hotels around the world and they can improve technology when it comes to TVs, lighting, accessible plugs for all the devices we carry now days. This part of town is not the best part of town. I wouldn’t stay here again.

we loved the entire feel of the property. Each employee there gave us the good southern comfort feel. Each thing we asked for they delivered even when we didnt think they would be able to do it. we will go back to this hotel again. The restaurants had great food as well and we thought were reasonable prices. This was all we could ask for. Be sure to visit the 3rd floor ballroom and if you are there when the rooftop is open ask if you can go up for the nightly light show it is free.

We were only here for one night but would love to come back! The staff was very friendly and helpful with ideas of what to do in our short time. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the shower was great which isn’t always the case in older hotels. We did not dine here but did have a delicious cocktail at the bar which we enjoyed while sitting in their comfortable, historic lobby.

Hotel was just ok - it was fine for what we needed but wouldn't stay more than two nights. The property is an historical site but in very poor shape. It's a little shabby. However it was clean, and the service - especially the valet, was friendly and efficient. Rooms were spacious and clean, beds were decent. The hotel had no modern conveniences like a small cafe for coffee or breakfast to go in the morning. The location is just on the border of the downtown/touristy area - I wouldn't feel safe walking by myself at night around that particular block.

Great stay at the Brown Hotel. We enjoyed the Hot Brown and Derby Pie. Walkable to other parts of the City and distillery's. We would recommend the hotel and we would stay there again in the future.

The hotel is exquisite. Just a beautiful structure. Driving a truck was difficult at the parking garage which is third person owned but they made it work for us. Tonight we happened into the piano bar that was just amazing. Dessert coffee were wonderful. Guest services leaves a little be desired butaybe they need some training. Overall we loved it.

Place was real nice and historic, but the checkout staff apparently was having a bad day. We stayed in luxury room but wasn’t that impressed for the price. Massive leaks in the 3rd floor have caused the ceiling to crumble and collapse in some places. Dinner was great; had the hot brown and salmon- both on point. Breakfast at the cafe was good too. Left unimpressed other than it was good but nothing special.

The place is really nice. I enjoyed the Historical features about this place stafff is friendly. Everything was great on that end.The one thing that I hated was the beds!!! We had 4 people 2 rooms, deluxe, and we all slept Awful. the beds are hard as a rock. And the mattresses are just plain old and hard.. I thought they had pillow top mattresses. Turns out there was just a pillow on top of the mattress. If they would just get better, mattresses and a coffee bar in the morning Downstairs VS the miniature coffee machine in my room. This would have been one of 5he best hotels!
