Immerse yourself in the lively buzz of downtown Louisville at the historic Guthrie Coke Building for visitors looking to experience Louisville's dynamic downtown scene, this location ensures you're always in the mix of action and excitement. Not a retreat for quiet moments, but a gateway to all the city thrills! 0.1 miles to 4th Street Live, the neighborhood's entertainment, restaurant, and cocktail hub 0.8 miles to Whiskey Row, the heart of Louisville's bourbon tourism 0.5 miles to Kentucky International Convention Center 3.6 miles to Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby 4.0 miles to Kentucky Expo Center Guest Access: You'll use a key fob to enter the building and take the elevator to your floor during your stay. The apartment has a smart lock keypad for self check-in with a code that is unique to your stay and expires after you check out for added security and peace of mind. At check-in, you'll enter the building using a call box before retrieving your key fob from inside you room. All access codes are sent 15 minutes before your scheduled arrival time. The Neighborhood: The location is unbeatable - just steps away from the iconic Louisville Palace and Mercury Ballroom, where you can catch some of the best live music acts in the region. Plus, you're within walking distance to Fourth Street Live, an entertainment district filled with bars, restaurants, and shops. And that's not all - you're less than a mile from Whiskey Row, where you can sample some of Kentucky's finest bourbons and soak up the city's rich history. Getting Around: We're in the historic Guthrie Coke Lofts at 566 S 4th St, in the heart of downtown Louisville. We offer paid onsite parking to guests for $15/night in the open lot directly behind the building. If you've paid for onsite parking, instructions will be provided at check-in. Guests staying more than 6 nights are eligible for free parking as part of their extended stay. For loading/unloading luggage or other items, you can park your car in front of the building entrance or in the nearby loading zone with flashers on. The Clay Commons Parking Garage at 350 W Chestnut St is another parking option a block away from the building for $25/night, but there are plenty of other garages or paid street parking in the area. Other Things to Note: Need extra bedding? We don't charge extra guest fees, but we do offer a pull-out sleeper sofa. Let us know if you plan to use it, and we’ll leave extra linens, a blanket, and pillows in your room before you check in. We charge $15 per reservation to cover the additional laundry costs for sheets, blankets, and towels. Want to start your trip early or sleep in on your last morning? We’re happy to accommodate an early check-in or late checkout if arranged in advance! Our standard check-in time is 4:00pm, and our checkout time is 10:00am – we charge 10% of the nightly rate per hour (with a minimum of $20/hour) to adjust our cleaners’ schedules and arrange this service. Stayed at this property with friends and had the time of our lives. Excellent location to Whiskey Row and the highway to get to Bardstown.
