Home features sweeping views of the Mohican River from the raised deck. Views of river can also be seen from the Kitchen and Living Room windows, the two downstairs bedrooms, from the patio and basically any where in the back yard. We loved coffees in the morning overlooking the river and bonfires in the evening. We did the River Run 7.5 mile kayak trip, which drops off 1 property down and is so convenient to not have to wait for the bus. (It took us 3 hrs barely paddling if you are curious). Also just 10 minutes to Landoll's Castle and nearby several nice hiking trails in Mohican. Only complaints would be the strong sulfur odor of the water, which some folks struggled with for showering. Also Internet access was a bit spotty as noted. Other than that this is a great spot for basecamp while exploring the area. Would recommend. ##### Alison W. Mailbox was almost hidden and described as being across the street which it wasn’t and there were no identifying address numbers. We passed the place several times before finding it.
