This property is tired. Was hoping to stay for more than one night but ended up going elsewhere. Pool was dirty, room bedding very old, and on positive side wonderful location.

Beautiful beach, and the view is awesome. The pool was cold for me, but good for others. The only thing that I didn’t like is that the hotel does not have any umbrelas or chairs at the beach, there are no shadows to hide from the sun. The hotel has a Disc golf course (5 baskets) but they need to clean some trash from the field. Nice jacuzzi!!!

I had ants all over my bathroom. I reported it and was told that they would put in a work order. After 3 days i bought a can of bug spray myself and sprayed them' I paid for a room $230/night with a view, it had a huge marlin on top of a building in front of me. The restaurant had a new manager who was Very arrogant when I met him. Overall I expected the care and service I had the year before, it Didn't. Twice I had the "make up" sign on the door and they didn't clean the room. I will NEVER go there again!!!

The property was fine, a nice location. The front desk and checkout stole $5,000 pesos from me and did nothing to correct this. I am not sure but it seemed to be a joined effort at checked charging me for incidentals. Too bad because it is a nice property.

We asked Front Desk what happened, and they explained that they placed a Credit Card Hold.Let me explain further what a Credit Card Hold entails.What Is a Credit Card Hold?After you arrive at your hotel, the front desk receptionist will need a credit card to put on hold before handing over the room key.A credit card hold is an insurance policy for the hotel. Specifically, the hold covers incidentals such as damage to the room, room service and dips into the minibar.Depending on the hotel, this hold could be a charge for your entire stay or charged each night. How Are Credit Card Holds Used?When you use a credit card for the incidentals of your room, the hotel puts the charge on your room temporarily. If the hotel finds you damaged the room, they'll deduct the amount of money necessary to cover the repairs. If you ordered room service or took items out of the minibar, the cost of those items gets deducted.If you leave your room in good condition, avoid ordering room service and resist the snacks and drinks in the minibar, the hotel will remove the charge from your card.How Long Do Credit Card Holds Last?When you check in, the front desk attendant will tell you when the hold will get removed from your card. The length of the hold will last anywhere between a few days after you check out to about a week.Before you arrive at the hotel, it's important to check your credit card balance. El lugar siempre es muy tranquilo, siempre para poderse relajar, la recepción siempre nos recibe excelente pero hay que mejorar el servicio en restaurantes. No estaba funcionando el jacuzzi (solo estaba caliente sin burbujas) La habitación es limpia son embargo hay lugares donde hay polvo, el sillón que están dentro de la habitación. Las TV son viejas y el sillón dentro de la cabaña tambien. El costo beneficio se obtiene realmente por la tranquilidad del lugar, acceso a la playa, regaderas y baños cerca de alberca y buen servicio del bar de alberca principal.

We were there for the music festival and it was fantastic. The hotel did a great job of providing the venue for a terrific event. The location of the property is on a beautiful stretch of the beach where we enjoyed a nice early morning walk. On a negative note, our room floor was dirty. I could feel the dirt on my feet as I walked barefoot....very gross! We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant but as the 4 wheel drive vehicles(dune buggies) raced by the property a cloud of dust covered our table and food....I'll probably upgrade to a nicer hotel next time in LB.

The entire property was clean and safe. The staff was excellent and helpful. It was close to the center of town and it was nice to be right on the beach The food and drinks on site were very expensive. I would not purchase food or drinks if I stayed there again. Coffee was $5 each and not great. Free coffee in the morning would have gone a long way in wanting us to visit again. We could have bought a coffee maker and saved money over our 7 day stay.

The exterior of the property was clean and well maintained. Beach easy to access. We arrived at night and the parking area was not well lit. It was much easier to understand the layout of the property the next morning.

It’s a little run down in parts, maybe past it’s prime. Also our room was very dark, almost a cave, and when the room above used their bathroom you heard the drains loud and clear. But the staff were all friendly and helpful. And the beachfront setting is quite special, amazing sunsets and sunrises.

My husband, dog and I stayed in Hotel Palmas de Cortez in December 2023. The ground floor room was a little older but very clean and well maintained. The breakfast which was included and made to order (Mexican and North American dishes) was fantastic and the restaurant is right on the beach with outdoor tables on a deck. The front desk, cleaning and restaurant staff were all very friendly and helpful and they were super welcoming to our dog. We were able to walk to great restaurants for dinner along the beach a couple of times and had a glass of wine and a beer at a scenic bar on the water that was associated with the hotel.

We enjoyed a one night stay in early December. The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and engaging. Overall the hotel room was very nice and the ocean view was worth the extra cost. The bathroom and overall size of the room was very comfortable. The resort clean and well kept, but certain aspects were dated, and the landscaping lighting at night could really use an upgrade. Much of the service and amenities were closed, as occupancy seemed very low. The front desk provided hours of operation for the restaurants and bars, but then never opened, such as the sushi restaurant we hoped to dine at or the snack bar. We’d stay again.

Sliding patio door didn't latch properly Shower window didn't lock properly and the window casing was filthy Deadbolt didn't work Safe was broken Refrigerator was broken and smelled like dead fish. (It was replaced quickly) Phone wasn't connected Bedspreads were dirty No blankets Pool was greenish brown and had all sorts of trash in it, but we'll cut some slack here due to the weather There was no back up water source when the town's water source was disrupted. (the front desk clerk did offer us free beach chairs for this inconvenience, but we checked out instead.) NOBODY would give us a receipt showing we checked out two days early so we could submit this information to Expedia for a refund. I tried three times with three different employees on two different days. Now I have to spend more of MY time getting a refund.

The staff was extremely efficient and helpful. We got a flat tire on our rental jeep, discovered it overnight. We were missing a tool to replace the spare tire, and their maintenance person appeared promptly with his tool kit and changed the tire with my husband. Just one of many helpful gestures by the staff.

Points forts : Propreté, état et installations de l’hébergement
El hotel es muy bonito, cuánta con servicios necesarios durante el día, la gente es muy amable. En cuanto a la habitación había detalles en el piso (manchado) la secadora estaba desarmada de la base , no había toallas cuando llegamos y en el área de albercas no cuenta con sombrillas suficientes solo tienen alrededor de 3 para todo el área, Los restaurantes para desayuno, comida y cena muy buenos
