The Space: Step back in time and experience the architectural legacy of our home, originally designed in 1959 by Yehuda Lavie, a student of Lloyd Wright. The serene Japanese garden, meticulously crafted by Lew Watanabe, invites tranquility. Inside, the primary bedroom offers a king-size bed with premium bedding. Additional bedrooms include a king-size bed, a queen-size bed, a twin bed with a trundle and a baby crib, and an office with a queen-size pull-out sofa. The living spaces are designed for comfort and entertainment: a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room with seating for 10, and a living room bathed in sunlight with views of the Japanese garden. A converted garage serves as a family room, complete with a 65-inch TV and an air hockey table. Outside, enjoy the unheated pool, hot tub, outdoor dining, a BBQ area with both charcoal and gas grills, and a mini gym. Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire property, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces. The driveway provides plenty of parking. Enjoy the large pool, hot tub, and outdoor dining and kitchen areas. Inside, make use of the mini gym, turntable, ping pong table, air hockey table, and movie room. The Neighborhood: Nestled in the heart of Sherman Oaks, our home offers a prime location in the family-friendly Royal Woods neighborhood. You're just a stone's throw from the vibrant Ventura Boulevard, brimming with diverse dining options, unique shops, and lively entertainment venues. For shopping enthusiasts, the Westfield Fashion Square Mall is conveniently close. Explore the natural beauty of Van Nuys-Sherman Oaks Park or enjoy easy access to cultural attractions like The Skirball Cultural Center and the Getty Museum. With easy freeway access, you're a short drive from the beaches of Malibu, the Santa Monica Pier, Universal Studios Hollywood, and the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The House and property grounds were great and as listed, for the most part. Biggest failure was the property management team of Felipe and Leo @ Tiaco Mgmt. I rented the house to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Upon check in we found a swarm of ants in the game room. We called and texted Leo, no response. We wiped the ants up but they came back 3x! We call and text again, no response. We spent our first night going to CVS and buying ant spray. After using the spray, the life’s couldn’t use the game room due to the fumes. Once kids went down we wanted to use the hot tub but it wasn’t working. We were too tired and forgot to inform the host.The host responded the next morning stating he was on a flight and asked if the ant issue was resolved. If you have personal stuff going on then make arrangements so your guests have a point of contact!That afternoon 2 random guys came into the backyard while we were there. They stated they were there to fix the pool heater. Host didn’t give us a heads up and that was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. Host knew heater wasn’t working and still failed to inform us veggie our stay!When we checked out I spoke with Felipe. He acknowledged that they dropped the ball and was extremely sorry. He said he would talk to the owner regarding some compensation for our troubles. It’s been 13 days, no response. I hope the owner is aware and fires this horrible mgmt company ASAP!! ##### jigar p.
