We ended up staying here during the unrest in LA , which was a little disconcerting, but we felt very safe here. Having a secure parking garage and building was essential. We ended up having to use the kitchen for most of our meals because of curfew. There are things that keep me from giving this a 5 star rating. There were a few random spices in a spice rack, but no salt and pepper. This is a basic kitchen need. Eggs without salt and pepper are not enjoyable at all. My other point of feedback is that the hinge on the refrigerator door needs to be changed to the opposite side so the fridge is easier to get in and out of. The floor mattress has a big nasty stain right in the middle of it. It doesn't look like there has been any effort to clean it. We had 4 people staying there and so we had no other option but to use it and thankfully the sheets covered it. I would recommend either a good cleaning, a mattress pad or replacing it. The mattress was comfortable aside from that. For the most part, the place was clean. However they require you wash and put away your own dishes as part of checkout and I had to wash several of the bowls that still had some cereal residue on them. The cleaner needs to check all the dishes and not assume that the previous guests clean them adequately. The pool is AMAZING! We loved being able to spend the evening there given that we couldn't go anywhere else after 8\. ##### Stephanie T.
