Great place with all of the amenities one could possibly want. Easy to check in. Plenty of space for an extended family of 7. The pool was nice, and the spa was easy to use. We would come back to this place again.

Easy to get around

This is a great location for Universal Studios. And easy access to other tourist attractions. Quiet neighborhood. Nice pool/hot tub and patio area. We had 5 adults and 2 kids and lots of room to spread out.

Good location near Universal but still needs some improvement

Good location near Universal and a quick easy Uber ride but it is not right across the street as described. I feel it would be possible for adults to make the walk but not young kids. Nice backyard as pictured but hot tub and pool cannot be heated at same time and temperature changes drastically in the hot tub requiring you to get out and turn on and off a lot. Overall home was nice and clean and beds comfortable but some areas of improvement are needed. Bathrooms don’t have a diverter valve so causes fluctuations in the water temperature in the shower. Tv remotes are all mixed up and operate multiple tvs so be ready to get woke up by others in your group turning on your tv after you fall alseep. Exercise equipment not usable due missing parts. Tack strips on stairs cut mine and my son’s heels. Communication was very slow responses and extremely rude. As an owner myself I would never speak to my guests that way. When I told the owner this he responded that it was a AI he used but that just did not seem believable in my opinion. I suggest the owner or property manager be a guest at the home so can determine needed updates and repairs. These are all pretty small fixes that could make the home much nicer.

Accurate description - could be improved with more family-friendly art and better kitchenware

Wonderful and helpful host; accurate description; great pool and spa! The experience was a little marred by inappropriate wall art for families (a woman with her underwear pulled down beneath her short skirt) and some very big booby-pictures; naked woman on mantelpiece so would give that feedback (or FYI for others wanting to book who may want to know). Cookware was also very scratched and did not feel commensurate with the rest of the "luxury" description. Otherwise was a nice stay with great pool and spa and game room! (Weight room with broken weights we didn't use or need). Seemed a bit expensive for what it was but also understand the rate is higher during holidays.

A great stay near Universal

My extended family of 9 (including 3 kids) stayed at this home while in the area for Thanksgiving and a trip to Universal. The hope doesn't look big on the outside, but is huge inside! While it is slightly out of date, everything is relatively clean and in good working order. Parking seems intimidating at first, but it is actually quite easy.

Family Celebration

We recently stayed for six nights and enjoyed our stay. Overall impressions: if you're primairly focused on locations and outdoor amemities, this house offers some advantages, expecially for those planning to visit Universal Studios. However, be prepared for a less-than-modern property that had limitiations in cooking supplies and in need of updated facilities. The outdoor pool and hot tub are well maintained and easy to use. Our stay was hampered by construction next door, which made it less than desirable to be outdoors.

Fantastic Stay Near Universal Studios

We had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this VRBO near Universal Studios. The location was perfect – just a short drive or even walk to the park, which made it super convenient for our family. The home itself was clean, spacious, and well-stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The kids loved the game room and the pool, and we appreciated the fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals in between. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay near Universal Studios.

Great pool for the kids. Nice to have TVs in all the rooms. Kitchen leaves A LOT to be desired. Ancient appliances - oven and stove were awful. Not a lot of cookware. No oven mitts or hot pads. No way to clean up after yourself after cooking other than cheap paper towels and dish soap. No wash cloths. Also, no specific pool towels which really sucked with kids and adults who both need towels for showering and pool time.

Cozy and comfortable

This place was amazing. I stayed here for a week with 8 other adults and one teenager to attend school. It was a good walk to the school and lots of stores and restaurants within walking distance. You can easily walk to Universal Studios every day. There are nice hills to walk so you can get a good workout naturally. The hot tub and fire pit outside was so comforting at the end of a long da. It would have been nice to have a broom and dustpan to sweep.i would definitely stay here again..

So comfortable, clean and close to Universal!

We really enjoyed staying at this property; it just worked so well for the 6 of us: our group of grandparents, parents and two teens. Loved having the pool, spa and BBQ; it was so great to return from Universal Studios after a warm, tiring day and spend time with the family outdoors in the pool and spa. Beds were comfortable and having the 3 baths with showers worked out very well for the group. Would definitely recommend a stay here. Just a note--I would strongly recommend having a car to go to Universal, grocery store, etc.

Great stay

The house was great with plenty of room to hang out together or have quiet time apart. The pool and hot tub are great. We didn’t end up walking to Universal since the house is uphill from the park. The adults could have done it, but felt too challenging for tired kids.

Comfortable fun house!

Three generations going to Universal Studios and Dodger game enjoyed this very quiet, comfortable house. We were hoping to walk to Universal and to the metro but lack of sidewalks and very fast cars derailed that idea! Beds were very comfortable and the pool and spa were refreshing after a hot tourist day! Property manager responded quickly to a small inquiry. Great place!

Quiet and clean

Nice home on a corner lot in a nice quiet neighborhood. It was close to Universal Studios, plenty of restaurants and shopping. There are plenty of indoor activities for kids and teens in the game room. My son enjoyed playing pool. Beds were comfortable and the house was clean. Would recommend staying here.

Wonderful host, very close to Universal Studios

We loved our stay at this property. The host was wonderful and attentive. The property was spacious and clean. Our kids loved the pool/hot tub and the game room. The kitchen was well-stocked. 5 minute drive to grocery store, 5 minute drive to Universal Studios.

Love California

The house was just as described. Having the game room was great - the kids loved playing pool and ping pong. The weather wasn't quite as warm as we were hoping but we still enjoyed the pool! It was nice to have a whole house to ourselves - we also enjoyed the location being so close to Universal Studios!

Work Trip

I took staff to LA for a convention. This house was close enough to everything but very private. Communication with the owner was quick & easy. The house is as it appears on VRBO and was a nice place to stay.

Great place

Clean & spacious, perfect for 2 families. Plenty of beds and room to spread out. Kids loved the pool. Well equipped, plenty of dinnerware & cutlery for large groups. Questions were answered promptly. Large washing machine and drier which was great after the tiny ones we’d had in other places. Would stay again.
