When my wife and I arrived at the address we reserved we had not yet received check in instructions. When we contacted the owner and asked for instructions to be forwarded, he apologized, indicated that he had been bus
y and that he'd work with vrbo to get them to us.
When we received the checkin info, a bait and switch happened. It was not for our reserved property in Beverly Hills, it was for someplace over 30 minutes away in Van Nuys.
We called vrbo customer service and thet said the owner hung up on them. We called the owner three times and emailed several times and he never responded back to help resolve and provide access to our reserved property.
We ended up having to stay in a hotel and the owner told us he would not provide a refund.
We eventually were refunded by vrbo, but the property owner was horrible to deal with.
