« Staffs are very friendly »

« Everything electronic, except for the refrigerator was unplugged. The bedside lamp was broken. There was soap residue on the shower drain. There was no type of soap products in the bathroom or shower. The mirror was covered with hand prints. Had to have maintenance to turn the heat on.I spent the night there simply because I had driven 600 miles. I would not stayed there if my wife was with me. At least I didn’t see anything crawling. Check in and out process is atrocious. »

« Upon arrival and checking in the room had ants and their response was to spray for it instead of giving a different room. Also, the room oneside ac did not work and it was too hot to be comfortable. They comp tickets for breakfast. »

« Mary, the lady who monitors the breakfast area, greets every guest as if they’re a member of her family. She truly seems happy to see us and serve us. »

« Parking was easy. Enough for all rooms. Staff was friendly and our stay was comfortable and quiet. Room was clean and well stocked with towels for all of us. »

« When we drove up were a bit worried, but it was as nice in the room as some of the more expensive motels. It lacked the litte extras, but we felt like the room was clean and comfortable. »

« I’ve stayed at this hotel years ago and it has deteriorated since then. The carpet needs to replaced. I had one bath towel and one wash cloth when I checked in. There was only enough body wash in the shower for one usage. They don’t put Kleenex’s in the dispenser anymore. At 6:30, the breakfast in the warmers looked like it was leftover from day before. The pancake machine jammed. Won’t stay there anymore. »

« I first want to say the owners are very nice. I do think they wanted us to feel comfortable and welcome. The house is old and beautiful, my curiosity of growing up near this property made me want to stay here instead of Hampton Inn. The access to the living and dining room was appealing because my family still lives in keokuk and we don’t have anywhere big enough to relax and visit together. It does have such potential to be amazing if there are some changes made. There are no locks on any of...
