The location is fantastic, close to great shopping and dining, yet the room itself was incredibly calming and serene. It felt cozy, homey, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. This was one of those stays where you immediately feel at ease. I can’t recommend The Colonial House highly enough and will absolutely be staying here again!"

It’s a quick walk to the Diamind. The hostess Dan is fabulous, she is very responsive and easy to work with. She gives you step-by-step directions and is very supportive with any questions you have during your stay. I wish I could spend every weekend here in this adorable home. The downstairs suite is absolutely worth it. It has a huge bed in a separate room. There is a beautiful living room with a fireplace. Highly, highly recommend!"

"We enjoyed our stay in Bedford, PA, and the cabin itself was spacious and comfortable. The layout provided plenty of room for our group to spread out, relax, and enjoy time together, which was a big plus. The common areas were especially nice for gathering.That said, for a cabin of this size, the number and/or layout of bathrooms was limited. With a larger group, this created some congestion at peak times and is something future renters should be aware of.Overall, it’s a roomy and comfortable cabin in a great location, but additional or better-configured bathroom space would make it much more accommodating for larger groups."

"This was a beautiful experience for my fiance and I! The listing is entirely accurate. The location is beautiful; the people of Stoystown are very nice. There's a Walmart 15 min away, too, as well as a Bar/Restaurant up the street. There is no wifi or service/reception at all in the cabin. You'll have to go up the street to make calls, where the stop sign is. Beautifully kept cabin at a great price in a beautiful area! We didn't want to leave! Cabin was immaculate! Very clean and listing is entirely accuarate. "
