Short walk to the beaches, brand new bikes to ride, brand new gas grill to grill out fresh fish, full kitchen with both a Keurig and and full pot of coffee if you prefer. Truly a very homey, comfortable place to stay, whether it's for a long weekend or a month or more. Never felt closed in, just enough space to spread out and enjoy. The best location I can think of in Florida if you like both "old Florida" feel and all the modern conveniences of gourmet restaurants, grocery stores, shopping at near by Armand Circle in Sarasota. Very nice amenities and never felt like it was lacking for anything. The owner lives out of state but has a local caretaker for "boots on the ground." This became relevant as the toilet gave us problems (fill valve needed to be replaced) but the owner was extremely responsive and I don't view it as a negative - these things happen sometimes - and if anything the owner impressed me by how it was dealt with.
