There was plenty of space - with a nice sized kitchen and bath and comfy beds. The big bonus? It was close to town and only a 25-minute one-way drive to Mt. Whitney. Aside from driving to Mt. Whitney, we walked everywhere. The town grocery store (Lone Pine Market) was just about .5 miles from the house, was much bigger than expected, and had some good options for my vegan daughter. In a brief phone call the owner acknowledged that the property needs a lot of work, scheduled for January. Loved having night lights in rooms to guide you in the middle of the night. Visited the old movie museum and went to dome of the famous sights. The other moving item we saw was Japanese Internment Camp.For a small town there is much to see snd do. We loved our 3 nights there. Well lit at night with solar lights and a fenced in area.
