The cabin is tucked into the woods down its own driveway. Located 10 min to “town” and everything you could possibly need! There is a big grocery store, a health food store, a butcher, hardware store, record shop, and tons of restaurants! Our cabin is a true gem situated between some of Vermont’s best ski mountains making it one of the best barn stays in the state! The kitchen was updated to be a chefs dream and the bathroom is beautiful and all original. The bathtub is the biggest tub in the state of Vermont!!! What could be better than falling asleep in the green mountains and waking up in the trees to the birds chirping around you or in the winter, to a fresh blanket of pristine snow while the embers still crackle in the wood burning stove?? Our little cabin is not far off so you WILL see other folks and you will hear me out on the tractor mowing or clearing snow...You will for sure get an unsolicited visit from our black lab! Keep your voices down and let nature do the talking. We are in the farmhouse should you need us. We are not a 500 room hotel owned by a corporation, this listing is family owned. PETS We love our animals at Bent Apple Farm, but we only allow dogs and we do charge a 150 dollar pet fee. \-Dogs must be crate trained and can not come to the property without. \-It is your responsibility to NEVER leave your pup unattended in the cabin even for trip to the grocery store. \-Please brush and trim your pet’s nails before coming to our cabin to avoid damaging our natural wood floors. \-If your dog is a chewer, this listing may not be a good fit for he/she. \-We don’t allowed pets in furniture or bed. If you cuddle with your dog in bed every night, this may not be a good fit for you. \-Be very cautious during hunting season to keep your pup close. \-At night/dusk be sure your dog is with you as we have coyotes and hawks, owls and bears in VT. Oct 31, 2025 Liked: Check-in Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy I was "sold" & excited when I saw the pictures online bc the barn looked really neat. Although the barn was a neat concept, the pictures ARE NOT accurate, it is not as updated as pictured & it was VERY DISAPPOINTING. I now understand the non-refundable policy bc what you see online is definitely NOT what you walked into when you opened the door & they don't want to have to give people their back. Although we had fun, the accommodations were VERY misleading & disappointing. ##### Christine M.
