I had a lovely stay at Ship Rooms. I expected much less, actually, because of the relatively low price compared to other hotels in the area. The room is simple but cozy and charming. It's within walking distance to Westminster, 10-minute taxi ride to Big Ben, parliament and Westminster Abbey. The room was clean, spacious, bathroom with a bathtub and shower. I bit cold, so if you are travelling with small kids or babies, it may not be the best option). There is a Nespresso machine and kettle in the room, coffee and tea bags provided. No fridge in the room, milk and water can be found in the fridge on the top floor. Overall a very good experience. There is a pub downstairs, so it may get noisy in the summer if you keep the window open, but I was in the Standard room above the pub, and there was no noise. There is no reception, the key are locked in the safe box outside. The room was lovely and clean upon arrival and the lady that checked us in was very friendly.
