The food was amazing! I had braised duck leg, crispy pork belly with beet root salad, and mushroom soup. Absolutely phenomenal. My wife and son both had the burger and loved them. The room was comfy for three of us with plenty of space and the loo/shower is shared, which was fine with us as it was always clean. Matt corresponded by email promptly and Harry was a great server at the bar/restaurant. We commented to each other that we wished we'd spent our whole stay at The Grange (but they were closed for the three days prior to our stay for much deserved vacation). We will definitely stay there again on our next trip to London. Great service, friendly staff and great food. They have a beer garden, tables outside at the front and a pizza oven. I had the minted lamb one and it was lovely. It is a five minute walk from Bermondsey tube, so it was easy peasy to head into town. The rooms are basic, but all is clean and tidy and am not for stupid frills. For me, it is all about good food and wine and a clean bed. The bathrooms are shared, but all clean and tidy and there was never a queue. :-) There were plenty of clean towels and there was shower gel and shampoo there. I could not fault the place at all and the staff were very warm and welcoming.
