It is rooms on top of a pub. There is no check in desk. Everything had a layer of dust. It is not worth anywhere near what they charge. As a solo traveler, it made me very uncomfortable to have an entire pub full of people watch me walk up to my room; there’s absolutely no separation or security. It was cold. - Heater not working until staff shows us but space heater is missing a leg, which is a safety issue - No blankets brought to the room when requested - Not a king bed despite advertised that way - Unresponsive staff, had to go down multiple times - Fob to hotel entrance not working, had to enter through pub (pub entrance also closed at 12AM so had to come back before to not get locked out). - Stain on sheet, even after sheets were changed/washed. - No room service - No utensils - not even stir sticks for the coffee machine - Water from shower spread throughout floor, which was dangerous with the space heater. - Towels not replaced and did not dry overnight - Only offered separate accommodations/dinner/drinks at 10PM before check out. We were traveling the next day so couldn’t transport drinks and no mention of a refund. - Hotel staff came into shower with shoes on and left dirt in shower - Main light 2/3 bulbs were out Generally, we can make due - but due to colder weather conditions, having a non working shower and these other issues did not suit our needs of this stay. ##### Sarah Stayed 2 nights in Dec 2025 ### 2/10 Terrible #### James Dec 1, 2025 Liked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities Disliked: Staff & service We booked the Deluxe Room with a king bed at the Knight of Nottinghill through Expedia (based on a photo of a nice large room with a king bed). When we arrived however, we were put into a tiny, musty-smelling room with a double bed. We spoke with the Supervisor, who gave us 2 different stories – all the rooms are the same size and the hotel had not yet changed the photos on their web site or on Expedia; AND they did have a king room, but the one we booked had been given to someone else who had booked it 3 days prior. She offered us a different room (which was a bit larger than the first one but still very small), gave us a half-hearted apology, and said there was nothing else she could do. We pushed back and she offered us a free lunch, then a free dinner. She then relented and gave us a refund worth about one nights’ stay. Luckily, we noticed that our credit card had actually been charged instead of refunded. We spoke with the manager about this the following day, and after a few unsuccessful attempts at refunding our credit card, he shrugged his shoulders and said that there was nothing he could do, and that it was up to us to figure out why he was unable to refund our card. After arguing with him for about 20 minutes he finally agreed to give us the cash. Both the supervisor and the manager were dismissive, rude, and did not seem to understand the concept of customer service or hospitality. We got a queen standard room, and was told by the manager(owner?) that there are no king beds. There is no front desk or entry into a hotel. There is only a pub(which opens at 11) with very small sleeping rooms(and tiny bathrooms) above it with four flights of stairs to get to the rooms. This hotel is literally above a pub and there wasn’t a sign or anything to show where we should check in. When we arrived around 10am we had to wait about 30 mins till an employee was around to direct us. They should reach out to guests ahead of time or send a note. Besides this, we also had a very leaky AC that wasn’t fixed. Rooms are on the smaller side but it’s a good value for the neighborhood and the rooms although small are nicely decorated. ##### danixa Stayed 3 nights in Jun 2024 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Catherine Nov 24, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities The property was ideally situated near to Ladbroke Grove tube station so it was easy to get anywhere in London in quite a short time.The rooms are above a trendy bar/restaurant we couldn’t hear the bar in our room which was good.The staff were pleasant but seemed a little unsure about the room so we did have to wait in the bar area but once it was sorted a lovely man took our cases upstairs to our room ( there are a lot of stairs and no lift ).The room itself was perfect it had a double bed with space all around it ,bedside tables and lights next to it. Two hanging rails with nice wooden hangers, coffee machine and pods (decaf and regular) nice choice of teas and slippers if you needed them. The bathroom had a good size shower with large rainfall shower head and molten brown products, towels provided were thick white and fluffy. The hotel kept our cases for us after check out which was great while we did some more sightseeing and shopping.
