This was the perfect location for accessing Primrose Hill. Very quiet and quaint. The perfect place for a private retreat.
Directly across from Primrose Hill Park. Lovely street of shops near by. Short walk to tube station and to Regents Park. Perfect location to base a stay in London.
The property was in the heart of Primrose Hill across from the park. Our stay was quiet and comfortable and the house is lovely. Would highly recommend!!!
This place is right on Regents Park - its a beautiful, quaint area with nice spots to eat nearby and the park right outside your front door. My 10 year old loved discovering Paddington Bear’s house (from the movies) just around the corner. Short walk to Chaulk Hill station gets you anywhere in London. My family had a great time exploring London from this home base.
We enjoyed a 9-night stay in the ground floor apartment, perfectly located across from the park and a brief walk to the shops, underground, and buses. The kitchen is small, but equipped, and the bathroom also small (separated by a sliding door from the kitchen), but the shower pressure is great. The living and bedroom are comfortable and quiet. The hosts are very responsive and we enjoyed our stay.
The host made this stay most enjoyable. She was very responsive, ordering items that we needed, including a fan. The location is very special -- particularly if you enjoy being a bit out of the hubbub yet close to a Tube station so you can easily be out sightseeing in London. The shops and restaurants, even grocers nearby are 2-3 minutes' walk and so many are very kind. This is suitable for a couple or two friends like ourselves who like to have separate sleeping quarters -- the day bed in the living area is comfortable. The kitchen and bath are tiny and so one, but very clean and stocked with essentials. It is not a "fancy" or "modern" place, yet the responsiveness of the host and the location made it a very enjoyable stay for two older women who enjoyed being out of central London yet with easy access to all the major areas of interest in the city. We spent a week here and would do so again, if the opportunity arises.
Many inconveniences: the dripping kitchen faucet onto metal, shabby carpets, The refrigerator Freezing our milk and butter, The two hairdryers, neither of which worked, The broken hall light, The bathroom faucets reversed, and not being told, the lockbox which wouldn’t open.
Worst of all a minuscule Narrow kitchen fit for one person directly opposite the minuscule bathroom. The Antiquated plastic toilet tank worked by hand pressure which never fully emptied hence a bad smell constantly. And the pipes fully exposed. The whole poorly maintained in need of much renovation as the owner admitted. Flea market antique furniture.
Hugely overpriced simply because of the location.
We zijn hier een week geweest. Huis is mooi, schoon en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Locatie is fantastisch. Je loopt zo het park in. Metro Chalk Farm is 10 minuten lopen. Supermarkt dichtbij en ook leuke restaurantjes en winkeltjes. Primrose Hill is een heerlijke plek om te verblijven
