My wife and I stayed at the Mews for a week while we were in town for the London MLB series. The flat was perfect for us as a home base and the area was easily accessible by several tube stations. We found a great bakery down the street, Oree which had fresh bread and sandwiches. As the host recommended, we had a fun dinner at the C&B Pub with friends and a bit fancier dinner at Gold Notting Hill. We slept great and made breakfast and lunch most days at the flat. It was an easy walk to the Westbourne Park stop, which was our far way to explore wonderful London. We got to know the tube lines well. We enjoyed the close proximity to Portobello market. The apartment is comfortable and well-equipped. We had a little trouble with the washer, likely user error. Location is great - easy walk to Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park or Portobello Market. Loved the "Durbar" Indian Restaurant Sam recommended - went there for dinner twice! Had issue with dryer not working but Sam came up with a solution that worked for us. Would highly recommend to to others. ##### Michael B. The fact that the buses run so frequently from outside the door to Notting Hill Gate tube station made getting around so easy as it connected with 3 tube lines that take to most destinations tourists want. Good roomy bathrooms and well set up- I guess stairs could be an issue but not for us. Kitchen was well set up with a good supply of cooking basics in place so we cooked a number of nights. Regret is we didn’t really explore the local restaurants and shops as we should have - walked to ottolengi for take away and some nice places to look at. A good washing machine as well. Highly recommend this place to stay and would stay here again. ##### Anthony B.
