It gave us a good location for a home base, easy access to all of London. Sixty years later, we had a make-up trip. It took the youngest about an hour to see the wisdom of a nicely situated and furnished apartment as the base of operations for the week. Two bedrooms each with own bath, full kitchen (coffee at 3am!) and a sitting area more than filled the bill. We walked everywhere and found several nice restaurants just minutes away.
