Mais ce n'est pas un hotel , juste des chambres louées sans aucune prestation. J'ai eu la déasgréable surprise d'être en panne de courant le matin au réveil, et de ne trouver strictement personne pour me solutionner le problème , hormis deux peintres qui oeuvraient au rez de chaussée du pub au dessus duquel sont louées les chambres. Quand je dis personne , c'est personne ! bref , douche prise dans l'obscurité, rasage en aveugle, je vous passe les détails. Je suis parti vers 8H00 du matin , toujours personne sur place. J'ai posé la clé sur le comptoir du pub, hallucinant....bref , les propriétaires osent l'appeler "king's boutique hotel" , je dirais plutôt " Sad pub B&B", il ne suffit pas de savoir décorer une chambre pour devenir professionnel de l'hotellerie. ##### Eric ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Laure, Paris 1 oct. 2013 Points faibles : État et installations de l’hébergement #### Etonnant... Merci de dire aux clients qu'il n'y a pas de réception et que le check in/check out est possible seulement aux heures d'ouverture du pub ! Nous sommes entrés dans l'établissement car d'autres clients sortaient à ce moment là ! Il n'y avait personne, tout était noir. Un cuisinier est finalement sorti du sous sol ... If you are looking for a traditional hotel experience skip this one. However, we wanted something a bit unique and we got it. Staff is not overly friendly but I guess that is part of the local charm. Rooms are nice and clean and the pub’s live music on Monday was a special treat. Super cool vibe overall. The room was as expected and the bathroom was very clean. There was no AC and no screen in the window. No safe in the room. Bed was uncomfortable with some stains on the bedding, but livable. Unexpected bonus: Kittens in the hallway. Unexpected drawbacks: 1) Hours of loud sounds of clanging pots, pans, silverware between 11pm - 3am after the crepe place downstairs had closed (as someone cleaned up). 2) They would not let me check-out early, despite more than 24 hours notice because I booked through a third party. This leaves me with a negative impression of this business. Plans change when traveling and most accommodations allow for flexibility with 24 hours notice. We've been coming back for more than a decade now, and love staying at the King Willie. Staff were great, as always. The only slight hiccup was a bit of trouble with the shower, as we lost water pressure a few times through the week, and once (briefly) alltogether. The shower was erratic, hot and cold. Directly outside the hotel, under our bedroom, was a creperie stall with attendant odours.
