While the apartment could benefit from a deep cleaning and some maintenance, it didn’t feel dirty or unsafe at all. Location is the highlight. Kensington is a central, safe area with good transport links and a great high street. Check in was seamless. The apartment was clean and the linen was good but there are maintenance issues which were clearly not new. Broken shower door, toilet seats, cupboard and vanity drawer. Curtains falling down and lamps missing light globes. Half empty shampoo and body wash containers and no tea/coffee etc. This all needs attention. We didn’t get a courtyard/balcony as advertised but we did get a second bathroom which was a welcomed extra. TVs in each bedroom were good, as was air con/heating/wifi. And the unit was quite nice. We had an unfortunate hiccup with check-in which led to some stress for us, but it all worked out.
