Located in the lower-ground level, my home is a two-bedroom townhouse with a homely and modern living area. In the living room, you'll find a comfortable sofa that pulls out to a double sofa bed and a flat-screen TV—everything you'll need to relax and entertain yourself after a long day. The kitchen is simple and fully equipped. It has a little dining area and all the mod cons you'll need to whip up a delicious meal. You'll find that both bedrooms are furnished with a double bed, each with hotel-quality linens for your utmost comfort. If necessary, we can also set up a sofa bed in the living room for you; just let us know ahead of time. The bathroom has all the essentials including fresh towels and complimentary toiletries. The townhouse is always professionally cleaned for your comfort. I hope you have a fantastic stay! Guests will have access to the entire home! We are GuestReady, a property manager, and we want to ensure your stay will be as smooth and comfortable as possible. We are available 24/7 should you need any assistance during your stay. Kindly note that this is a personal home so please take good care of it as if it was your own. The home is conveniently located by plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes. If you prefer a home cooked meal, stop by Waitrose for some groceries, or the small general shop at the end of the cul de sac. Attractions in the area include, Little Venice with charming walks along the canal lined with restaurants, Hyde park within a 5-7 min walk, Kensington Palace and Gardens and Bayswater Road which are all worth a visit. The closest mainline station is Paddington (5 mins), Lancaster Gate Tube (8 mins), Bayswater Tube (10 mins), Queensway Tube (13 mins) Ubers, buses and taxis are readily available in London. This property is a self-check-in property, and you will be requested to verify your identity before being able to check into the flat. You can check in any time of the day as long as you respect our standard check-in time (3 PM). Also, we charge £50 for each set of lost keys (security keys may cost more). There may be an additional cost to replace the locks for security purposes. So, please keep your keys safe. There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a minimum of £300 for the smoking fee. We do not allow parties, large gatherings, loud noises, or outside guests. Should we receive sufficient evidence of such activity, we reserve the right to cancel your stay (without a refund) and may involve a security team to evict you. Any associated cost will be charged to you via your security deposit. I recommend Paddington for easy travel access and a cheerful, charming neighborhood- I don't recommend this flat.No hot water for the shower and the instructions from the property manager on how to get the boiler going were not helpful and never told us where the boiler was. Beds are on the floor- felt like going back to college. The combined washer dryer took hours to dry. The shower is not friendly to anyone 6' tall or taller.Finally, per the instructions from Get Ready we called when we arrived asking for an early check in- without expectation, without demand and with politeness. Got put on hold for 10 mins, told the policy was 15:00 check in and then they hung up on me ?? Book the neighborhood, not the flat. ##### Robert K. We have always stayed in the West Kensington area when visiting London, but wanted to be a bit more central this time. This apartment location was perfect! The apartment was lovely, and provided ample space for our family of four (two adults, two kids - ages 15 and 20). The 15 year old took one bedroom, and the 20 year old used the sofabed in the living room. The kitchen was spacious and we were all able to easily sit around the table to eat at the same time. The cabinets were fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, tea, etc. The online (accessed via QR code) manual for the apartment was quite handy, as UK appliances don't always operate the same as US ones. The ability to put the key in the lockbox each day was helpful, as we didn't always stay together and whomever arrived back at the apartment first could easily get in. Downsides: as with many London apartments, there is no air conditioning. However, the apartment has multiple fans available (we didn't use them, but came close as the weather got warmer each day). We have never had luck with a UK washing machine; they all claim to be combo washer/dryer units, but the clothes are anything but dry when they come out. Not only that, once the cycle starts, you can't open the door for several hours (could be many, many hours depending on the chosen cycle). The only bad comment we have about the property is the bathtub, it is extremely difficult for a person who is not in an excellent physical condition. It is extremely high. Neighborhood attractive , bottles of water in refrigerator, adequate bedding, portable fan. Negatives Steep stairs down , dryer didn’t work , garbage disposal didn’t work…resulting in odor . The location to paddington station was great. It’s a 20 minute walk to Notting Hill and a 15 minute walk to Little Venice. The apartment was clean (except all the coffee mugs). Plenty of towels were left for us along with some kitchen staples. The mattresses are pretty wornout and should be replaced. Overall for the cost it was fine. ##### Dawn W.
