In the heart of leafy Pimlico sits this exquisite two-bedroom London home. Classic interiors filled with simple-yet-elegant furnishings complemented by original features such as hardwood flooring and ornate fireplaces elevate this sublime home to another level. Welcoming up to four guests, it's a light, bright, characterful home with that most desirable of London features - a private garden. Pimlico has always had a reputation for being one of the more gentile neighbourhoods of the capital and is home to some of London's wealthiest residents. When Pimlico was designed as an extension of neighbouring Belgravia, priority was given to green spaces and gardens. That has made this Regency enclave a more sedate and tranquil spot, despite its proximity to Victoria and Westminster. The Royal Parks, Sloane Square and the River Thames are all within easy reach, and the area is home to a thriving café community where bistros and delicatessens line the streets. Buckingham Palace and Big Ben are a stroll away - and, for cricket fans, the Oval is just across the river - but don't miss Tate Britain, probably Pimlico's biggest draw. Charlwood Place captures the suave spirit of Pimlico perfectly. Effortless taste and a relaxed, casual fusion of modern and traditional influences make it feel like a real family home. The sitting room is divided into separate nooks, with a home office in the alcove. The kitchen and dining area are flooded with light thanks to a large skylight and patio doors that open onto a balcony and a spiral staircase leading down to the garden. On the lower level, you’ll find two delightful bedrooms, with a king-size and double bed. Both are accompanied by ensuite bathrooms, tastefully decorated in cool greys and neutral tones to create a restful atmosphere. The stand-out feature of Charlwood Place is the garden. Designed in a continental style and also accessed via the master bedroom as well as the signature spiral metal staircase, this is a private and sunny spot for unwinding at the end of the day. There is a cosy al fresco dining area for those warm summer evenings when you simply want to spend time with friends, a bottle of wine, and some nibbles. With Pimlico underground station just five minutes away, Charlwood Place is the ideal choice for a leisurely city break in one of the most historically significant cities in the world.

\- This home doesn't have air-conditioning. Between june and september, we'll place fans in each bedroom. Please let us know if you'd like fans outside the summer period. This home is split over two floors with no internal elevator. Although the entrance to this home is on the ground floor, there are a few steps up from street-level. This home accepts babies, toddlers, children, and one well-behaved pet where an extra cleaning fee will be added to your booking. Please speak to our sales advisors for information. The fireplace in the sitting room is ornamental. The homeowner's housekeeper will attend on friday mornings.
