Its self check in, you will not meet someone, but you can call them until late afternoon and they will be very helpful to get you checked in. However if you arrive late at Night they Will be no assistance, that might be inconvenient. Everything is really clean, you have all equipments for the kitchen and bathroom. However in the room there is a tv impossible to unplung and which makes little noises all the time. The property is a bit hard to find - it’s located within Bourne Court (off Baldwin gardens) and isn’t marked in any way as a hotel (rooms). The property has 4 rooms over 2 floors and these rooms share 2 toilets between them. The rooms don’t have good soundproofing so depending on who is in the other rooms will impact your sleep/stay. The place also has a full kitchen which is shared between the rooms. I stayed in the triple room and the room was adequate for 2 and 3 if the sofa bed is used. There is a kettle in the room and tea bags but mugs can be found in the kitchen downstairs. The bed was comfortable but the room was freezing cold and there is no way to turn on any heating, even though there is an electric fire in the room (unable to turn it on). The window is single glazed so you can hear everything outside and this doesn’t help with the room being cold. I slept with 2 duvets in me (using the one which is suppose to be for the sofa bed) Huge tv in the room which only has apps on it. Overall I was lucky with the people who stayed here in the other rooms as they came back at 1am and made lots of noise for about 30 mins but then went to sleep. If you are a light sleeper or want an early night - do not stay here. The front door has to be slammed to be closed and rooms/toilet doors also make noise when being opened/closed. Overall - you get what you pay for. It is a basic room with no cups to go with the kettle. Bedroom doors lock but still not ideal setup. Lacking basics that a true hotel would have like toiletries though I brought my own. There was a kettle and tea and sugar, but no cup or coffee or milk in room (?) Cleanliness wasn't the best, but it was acceptable. Shower sprayed water everywhere - be prepared to mop up the floor with a towel! Would have been very small space for the 4 people expected to fit in the room! Fine for 1-2 people. Was a bit taken aback at having to send my ID and £300 deposit in advance (maybe not ideal if you don't want that money unavailable to you?) but it was promptly released from card by the day after stay. Comms werent great - they initially asked me to pay for the room after I'd already paid hotels.com, and later on asked for my ID after I'd already submitted. Also didn't get check in instructions until 2pm on day of arrival - check in isn't until 4pm but if you like to have all your info in advance it's not ideal. First day in new job and I didn't even know if I was going to be able to check in!
