Great, full breakfast. Definitely a great add on to save money and still having a healthy and proper breakfast to get the day started. All the staff was super helpful. Washrooms are not the biggest, but definitely has everything you need. Great water pressure and hot water. Very close to Paddington station as well. It’s not a five star hotel, so do not go in with certain expectations as others do. The location is excellent, just a few blocks from Paddington station, but on a quiet street. The complementary breakfast is quite good - full English or cereal. The room itself was a bit small, but very clean and in good shape, with a small fridge, kettle for heating water, and tea/coffee. Beds were firm, which is how we like them. Whilst I appreciate I was staying in a single room, it felt like a cupboard, I was able to touch 2 walls at the same time, and I am not tall or have long arms! The carpet was dirty, the room had a very unpleasant smell, it was a basement room so perhaps it was due to that. The en-suite was tiny, the basin extremely small and there was no plug. The staff at breakfast were unaware that I was a coeliac and required a gluten free meal, despite noting the requirement when I booked the room. But with that in mind, this is also one of the nicer hotels of that standard. It was super cozy and I felt safe in the area. It was walkable to most anything (including Big Ben, London Eye, etc if you are okay walking a couple miles). The rooms were tight but completely manageable. The bathroom and specifically the shower was really small but again manageable.
