« Perfect for exploring Chester on foot and close to the station. Lovely comfy beds but the house itself was not as clean as I would have liked and there are a few maintenance issues but nothing to spoil the stay. We had a great week there. The size of the house was perfect for our family of 5 with older teenagers, not a huge amount of living space for a bigger group though. »

« The photographs of the property do not do this house and gardens justice. There were 14 of us staying and it’s the best house we’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and entertain, with an Aga and separate oven. Seating in the house is plentiful and the grounds are stunning. We could easily walk for dinner into Bala as well as stroll down to the lake. The children had a swim in the leisure centre as the lake is a tad cold in May! It’s worth every penny to stay here....

« We had a wonderful time with a group of young people at the start of a 26 week employability and life skills programme. The rooms are comfortable, the kitchen is at the heart of the property and we could all sit around the table to eat our meals.The location is great for walks and the garden good for exploring. A fabulous time was had by all. »

« Charmant petit cottage bien situé et bien équipé pour visiter le parc de Snowdon. On regrettera toutefois l’absence totale de Wifi malgré ce qu’indique l’annonce et le fait que le cottage soit juste à côté de la maison des propriétaires (les photos ne le laissant absolument pas supposer). Les propriétaires restent cependant très discrets. »

« Nous n'avons pas vu le propriétaire mais celui ci était présent par sa communication e mail. Quelques friandises dans le réfrigérateur que du bonheur.. Confort, propreté c'était parfait Chester est à 800 m, on laisse la voiture et un peu de marche. »

« Property was nice but it’s not a 4 b from house it has s 2 two bed flats but by keeping both front doors open feels like a house… parking is on street and difficult to find space.. downstairs has back bedroom in exention and need ti walk through kitchen to access… but it was ok for us as 4 men.. it was clean throughout comfortable beds apart from small room upstairs.. bathrooms very nice with shower upstairs only… … »

« Great accommodation for our group of six! Had everything we needed and place was spotless & comfortable. Perfect outdoor patio to sit and enjoy the beautiful warm weather we had. Short walk into town plus a good base to set out from to enjoy northern Wales. Not a concern for us (except lifting our luggage) but there are a few steps up to the front door that could be a challenge for some. Our host, Richard, was amazing!
