"My first impression of customer service wasn’t great. When I checked in the young clerk did not glanced our way he had eyes on his computer but heard us come in, then gave us a room on 2nd floor. He seemed a bit flustered when I asked how to get to the elevator, he informed me there wasn’t any. I obviously walked in using my rolling walker if he was paying attention to begin with he would have noticed. I stepped back so he could see my walker & then he assigned us a downstairs room. "I wouldn’t recommend for a solo traveler as units are not all connected, you may have a walk outdoors to your room. But it was a gorgeous location, excellent food, kind staff."

"Convenient location (10 min walking) to Gaslamp Quarter. Super comfortable stay. The beds in South Tower were lovely. Large fitness center with spacious pools. Not a fan of the daily parking or “benefits” fees, but they were expected. The “city sounds” (sirens, trolley) were on the kind of loud side for us at night but that’s not a comment on the Marriott just an fyi if you have a city view room. Staff were all very courteous and friendly. We would definitely go back. "
