Quiet Cove, Close to Everything. This adorable waterfront house offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests. With five bedrooms and multiple entertainment areas this home offers comfort and relaxation for everyone. The bright and open main level offers a cozy living area, dining area, and a fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops. You'll also enjoy three main level bedrooms and two full bathrooms. On the main level you also have a large deck and screen porch to enjoy your morning coffee or sunset cocktail. The lower level offers an additional large living room and entertainment space which includes a ping pong table, pool table, wet bar, walk out access to a covered patio, and an adjacent patio with fire pit, gas grill and corn hole. Back inside, the lower level also includes a large laundry room, two bedrooms, one full bathroom and one half-bathroom. The bedrooms in this house feature1 king bedroom, 2 queen bedrooms, 1 full bedroom, and a bedroom with 2 sets of twin bunk beds. Also offering 3.5 bathrooms ensuring convenience for all. At our hideaway, there's plenty of space for everyone to relax and unwind. On the lake, enjoy the oversized dock with ample seating, an enclosed boathouse, boathouse fridge, and an absolutely perfect area for swimming, fishing, floating, kayaking and paddleboarding. The house is situated on a large gently slopped lot with easy access from the house to the lake via a newly paved concrete path. Nestled among mature trees, set deep off the road, there is plenty of parking for everyone! The location of our house is unmatched. Enjoy the convenience of being located on the main lake, and the coziness of an established neighborhood. Hubquarter creek is a large cove located at mile marker 11 on the main lake which is less than 10 minutes from restaurants, Eaton Ferry bridge, and Eaton Ferry Marina. By car, you're less than 10 miles from grocery shopping, restaurants and other Lake Gaston amenities. Buck Springs Park is at the entrance of our neighborhood and includes picnic shelters, bike and walking trails, historic buildings, Nathaniel Macon's gravesite and restored home place, a playground and fishing pier. Whether you're planning a long or short stay, our place is equipped to make your stay one to remember. We've taken care to ensure the house is clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need - from coffee pots, to pots and pans and everything in between. We include bed linens and bath towels, starter supplies of toilet paper, soap, and detergent. For entertainment we have a closet full of games and puzzles, ping pong and pool supplies, books, cards, dominos, etc. We also have reliable wi-fi and two smart televisions. We want your home away from home to be easy to enjoy! I think if the house was probably maintained we may not have a flood in basement. Owners did respond quickly and someone came out the following day around 2 and brought fans. They indicated they would be back after we left on Saturday. For the amount of money we paid I feel the outside maintaince of gutters should have been addressed before renting.
