Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of the charming village of Pensilva, The Piggery is a true hidden gem, offering a peaceful retreat set within an impressive private estate. With some of Cornwall’s most breathtaking scenery, a short stroll from your doorstep, winding footpaths lead you through unspoiled wooded riverbanks, where the calls of buzzards and screech owls can be heard. Once a hub of Cornwall’s mining industry, the landscape is now dotted with the striking remains of old engine houses, standing as proud reminders of the region’s rich heritage.  
  
Step through the stable door, and you are welcomed into an inviting open-plan living space, where history and comfort blend seamlessly. Exposed original stone walls, rustic beams overhead, and streams of natural light create a warm, characterful atmosphere. The functional yet stylish kitchen flows effortlessly into the lounge, where a cosy dining table, a super comfy sofa and armchair, and a small wall-mounted TV invite you to relax after a day of exploring. The charming double bedroom, with its exquisite stone walls and a Velux window above, offers a tranquil retreat for a restful night’s sleep beneath the stars. The bathroom, sleek and practical, features a triple-sided shower enclosure, perfect for freshening up before another day of adventure.  
  
Outside, a delightful patio area awaits, complete with picnic bench-style seating, making it the perfect spot for morning coffee as you take in the fresh Cornish air.
